Oops. Already forgot the parameters!
This went from a great show season one to a complete mess for season two. I feel like you need a dry erase board to keep track of who's working with who and who's screwing who over and what faction this person belongs to.
The Ryan's want a casino? What? Conrad's running for governor? Really? I don't even get what's going on with Aiden and why Emily wouldn't try to help his sister. It's out of control.
My hope is Amanda dies. Her character is awful and the actress is even worse.
I wish Amanda AND Adien are killed off. They are the most annoying characters to me. throw in the brothers too! They add nothing worthwhile to the plot and I think the show would be much better without all the extra characters. Wasn't Tyler enough already with the ridiculous side plots? I'd rather see Jack grieving his annoying girlfriend and turning to Emily for solace.
I'm just so lost with this last episode. Why wouldn't Emily want to help Aiden's sister? Why would Aiden not believe in what Emily is doing? Conrad wanting to work with the Ryan brother's now all of a sudden?? My head is spinning
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either
ERRRR! I am so frustrated. Last week-great, this week-blah. They really need to go back to the original storyboard and blueprint and use that formula--the formula that made a 10pm drama such a fan favorite and kept it around for another season. Sadly, (and I posted about this upthread) I really think the plot has suffered from the enormity of the fan response and inevitable expectations from the network; meaning Revenge was originally a smaller show with a concise plan and it's popularity had network execs telling the writers/production that they really needed to milk this puppy for all it was worth. The result--BOOM--giant plot explosion and a zillion characters to make the show longer.
It's so sad![]()
Although I not as into the show this season as last, tonight's show was pretty good. So sweet to see Emily as a child playing at marrying Jack, with the pup in attendance. The bittersweet moment at the wedding of Amanda and Jack when Emily gave them the ring she used as a child and Jack loved it. There was much going on with Victoria, her husband, those guys who want the bar, but when I saw Jack and Amanda sail off into the sunset, I got such a chill. Isnt this where we came in at the beginning of the season, with the sunken boat and the body in it? That poor doomed couple!!
Amanda has finally grown on me. She & Jack are good together. I hope they both live from whatever is going to happen. It will be interesting to see how Jack eventually handles finding out that Amanda isn't really the Amanda he things she is.
Last night, in the previews, they kept saying that Emily will have to pay the "ultimate price" in her revenge plan.
I still have a feeling it may be Aiden. I hope not. I like the two of them together too. But the "ultimate price" thing would fit.
"Success is getting what you want; Happiness is wanting what you get."
I think you are right...either Aiden or Jack fits this bill and I feel like it might be Aiden as the show is better with just Team Emily/Nolan.
Im pretty sure the hand had a wedding ring, though, so that would fit Jack...but maybe someone removed it and placed it on the brother or something like that?
