I thought the same thing about that little girl's dress AJane. I read today that she's 13 years old. I think it was a really bad judgement call by her parents, and whoever styled her if she had a stylist. She looked very nice in the dress, but it was just inappropriate for her age. She's a talent girl who doesn't need to rely on looking older than her age to get work. I feel bad for her, because I think she was really excited for the moment, and its stirred up all kinds of controversy. Her parents should have known better!

WOW! I went and looked up her red carpet photos out of curiosity. She is THIRTEEN. I have to agree - I don't think thirteen year-olds should be dressed up to show off this kind of cleavage...

It's unfortunate because if the dress had a closed front instead of the plunge below the higher part of the neckline, it would have been just fine. The color and lace on the dress were otherwise quite flattering.

Not 25 - she's only 13. That's generally the age where girls think they're being mature and provocative by showing off their newly-grown "assets." Funny, it's not all that revealing a dress, but the keyhole neckline seemed too adult. If it had been more of a tank-style bodice, I don't think I would have noticed it.

When Heidi Klum was being interviewed on the red carpet about her dress, which was designed by Christian Siriano, I totally had to call b.s. on her. She claimed her just loves to support the PR designers. I remember her asking Jay McCarroll to design an awards show dress for her - he did and it was gorgeous - and she decided fairly last minute that she wasn't going to wear it. Jay's dress was WAY better than the one she wore last night.

I was looking at the Emmy pics on imdb and some idiot tagged pics of someone else as Idris Elba. Apparently, every dark-skinned black man looks alike. They probably only know who Seal is because he's bald and usually standing next to Heidi Klum

I don't normally like renditions of Hallelujah (I'm devoted to Jeff Buckley's version) but those boys certainly could sing. Beautiful job.
I didn't know Jack LaLanne died until I saw that. I don't mind a rendition or two of Hallelujah. I had no idea who the people were singing it. It wasn't terrible but it reminded me of a PBS pledge time special so I wasn't too engaged in it and I have other versions that I like a lot better.

Anyhow as for dresses. I don't particularly mind what the 13 year old wore. At least she looked dressed generally appropriately for the event. I look at girls wear to prom these days and they look like they belong in Pretty Woman a lot I've noticed. Much more revealing holes than than what that girl was showing.
