Apparently it will be back next summer. William Shatner will be playing a drunk driver in the season opener.

It will definitely be back! There was even preliminary talk about it coming as a Fall show, but, thankfully, they're sticking with summer. I wouldn't want it getting lost.

I enjoyed the finale and was really happy that they chose to air both episodes in one night rather than a week apart.

I, too, am glad to hear it's coming back! I'd love for it to come back in the fall, for the simple fact that we'd get more episodes, but I'd hate for it to fall through the cracks and possibly get canceled so I'll sadly wait until next summer.

I actually enjoy this as a summer series. My DVR is already overworked for the Fall season

The other thing that the director had said was that because it's a shorter season they can pack more into each episode (13 episodes) versus drawing the material out for 22. This makes a lot of sense. I wonder how many other shows could benefit from a shorter season with more happening each time.

Really like this show. I love how they weave the character's personal lives into the storylines.
