If Up All Night has a better chance than other similar comedies, it's because of the cast. I love Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph and I think Will Arnett is one of the funniest people on the planet. I'll give it a try just because of the cast. Let's face it, there aren't really any new concepts out there: it's all about the writing and the cast.

I like them all, too, but I have no desire to watch a show about sleep-deprived adults with a new baby. Been there, done that ;-)

    I agree.
I do think the ads have been rather lame, but each one of the actors is terrific at comedy. I hope it does well.

I watched Up All Night last night and it was ok. I like Christina Applegate and loved Samantha Who. Will Arnett is good in certain things but I'm not sure he's the right fit here. I'll watch again though. I caught early previews On Demand of New Girl (Zooey Deschenel) and Whitney. New Girl is ok but the guy who plays coach is also on Happy Endings and since that was picked up, they will be writing him out. So I'll have to see how the dynamic changes when he leaves. Whitney has a laugh track and I don't care for laugh tracks, and it really wasn't funny. I don't think I'll watch it again.

I just heard about American Horror Story - it's on cable, right? It sounds really good !

It's on FX, Katydyd It's not normally the type of show I'd watch, but the cast is so good, I might give it a try!

I found this calendar at TV Guide's site: Fall Schedule Calendar

It's much better, imo, than a list. I REALLY wish I had a DVR, especially for Tuesday nights because I work and there are just too many good shows on at the same time!

I watched Person of Interest last night. It was pretty decent. In a way, the technology concepts reminded me of the movie EagleEye. The actors were fine. I think as the show progresses and they settle into their roles more, it will improve itself.
