I've felt the same way about New Girl, JJ. I love Zoey, so I'm sticking with it. The whole scene in the last episode where they all went to get Jess's TV back was terrific. That's the kind of thing that will keep me tuning in. I think the show will settle in and get better. Already, Jess isn't as "Hey, look at me! I'm kooky!" as she was in the first episode.
We have early CBS primetime here so Charlie's Angels is up against Person of Interest. That means the Angels are probably not on my viewing rotation. I missed the premiere of POA and only saw about 20 minutes of tonight's epi (I really should learn to turn the phone off!), but I can still tell it's miles better than CA!
Since Prime Suspect is OnDemand (and fast - tonight's epi is alread up), I'll stick with it, for now.

. I only watched the first show and thought it was horrible. I can't see How To Be A Gentleman lasting much longer either. I tried to watch and it was excrutiating. The "gentleman" character's voice grates on my nerves and he looks like an unsuccessful cross between NPH and Anthony Michael Hall. I'm sure Two Broke Girls is a cute show but it's not for me. I gave it, Charlies Angels and The Playboy Club a try for their first episodes and decided they weren't interesting enough to add to my already full schedule of shows.

I think being cynical about TV networks helps!
I'm not sad about that cancelation. I never watched the show or liked the concept. Plus, Eddie Cibrian makes my skin crawl. I feel sad about shows like that being canceled only because of the crew and behind-the-scenes people who will lose their jobs.
By then, who knows how many more shows will be canceled!
