Dang, but that was good! I love this show and I'm betting a lot of Baby Boomers are loving it also.

I'm loving the evil intrigue, etc. I'm a baby boomer, but never watched a single episode of the original Dallas, as I was in college at the time -- paying my own way -- and working and trying to qualify for the "few hundred bucks here, few hundred bucks there" scholarships along the way. But I kept up well enough via conversations among my classmates who were getting a free ride from their parents and had time for TV. In this case, delayed gratification is good! This show has fun scriptwriters.

But I totally don't get the big deal of JR's oversized belt buckle. It's tacky.
That ugly fashion-disaster item is supposed to be a chick magnet (…or whatever)?

…however, I do remember that my dad (not a Texan) had a couple of big belt buckles back during that era. So, a throwback?

Loved the scene with Bobby at the family graveyard. You can tell that whoever is in charge of this show, loved the original version! It's great that they have so many of the original cast, and such lively good looking new comers.

I wish that Netflix had the original series available online. It would be fun to watch some of what started all this.

Watched it and LOVED it. They've done such a good job with updating this great 80's show while still being so incredibly true to what made the original so awesome. The belt buckle was so ridiculous IMO but was so JR hahahahah
