I've been watching this and so far so good. I do agree with those of you who don't like the actor playing Arthur. He looks like a 12 year old boy. I do like Merlin though. He's more human than in the other versions Camelot and for some reason I like that. I like the actress who's playing Morgan, she's so mysterious and keeps you guessing what she's going to do next.
One thing that confused me last night was ; what happened to King Lot: The warlord Morgan had formed an alliance with? The two knights who went to the church to get Gwain told him he was dead?

Arthur's adopted dad killed him..as for the actor playing Arthur IDK how old Arthur was supposed to be when he pulled the sword from the stone..lol but I think...Think he was supposed to be a child...so I guess they needed someone young...he sure looks younger here than he does in the twilight movie

I love the cast.. Arthur less than the rest to be honest. I do laugh a bit when i see Morgan, I cant help thinking Casino Royale and Vesper Lynd. She is a good actress because this is so different from that role.

I'm really liking this show too BF. I don't like Arthur but I guess he kind of fits with the role. I guess Leontes is supposed to be Lancelot? I like the cast, I don't understand why Merlin has to be quite so intense,
I liked the little piece of fancy they made up to explain the name of Arthur's sword and her hand extended and frozen above the water like the Lady of the Lake is said to have done.
I like that they are paying homage to the legends.
In the same breath I LOVE "Merlin" the Syfy series. I also liked Xena and Hercules in their day.

I've watched four episodes now in an effort to really give the show a chance, but I think I'm done now. It suffers from the same issues that other shows on Starz do, most notably Spartacus. Everyone is too pretty, the dialogue isn't believable and it just lacks something. When I put this show up against Game of Thrones, this one feels like a SyFy movie in comparison It's like comparing Rome to Spartacus. One is authentic and gritty and fabulous and the other is just "meh." The women, in particular, look like something out of a CW show, playing dress up. The actor playing King Arthur is dreadfully miscast. The show is just a disaster. The only good thing about it - and what kept me watching through four episodes - is Joseph Fiennes.

This makes me even more worried about what they'll do to my beloved Torchwood this summer.

ETA: Okay, I'm just finishing up with episode 4 and Sinead Cusack - who is playing a NUN - appears to be wearing lipstick. WTH?

sorry you aren't enjoying it..I am..but as I said I don't know much about the period but I always heard that the story of Arthur and the knights of the round table was a fictonal story anyway...or at least from all the reading I have done since it started there is no real evidence that it existed so IDK...and like I said from the stories I read Arthur was just a child when he became King so I guess they had to have someone young..I can't wait to see how far they take it and how they have him grow up

but I did read one thing that said Guinivere was the Queen of King Arthur the she fell in love with Lancelot..never heard anything of her being married beforehand

I know its been a while since this show ended but I thought it ended really interesting....while we know the show is about Arthur, to me Morgan turned out to be the most interesting character during the first season...can't wait to see what happens now that Arthur knows her for the sneak she is

    Heard that Starz canceled Camelot.
