The only tie-in would be some emotional, residual effects. Not a major part of the third season. Definitley a brand new case.
i never noticed that on first 48 how funny!

Wow! The actor can't be much less like his character! And, his swedish accent (they give a youtube link to see an interview) is so thick in real life. Now, I can hear it creep into Holder's character here and there. He has to put on an American accent.
He's my favorite character, so thanks!
I like this show. It is dark, moody and brooding, but it keeps me interested because I didn't start watching until after the first season, so I knew it wouldn't be solved until the end of season two. Knowing the actual end-date helps keep me watching. I can't imagine how frustrating it was for those who thought that it was just a one season show.
Well that was a surprise for me... But too little too late. Waited two seasons for that?
After last week's heavy retconning, it HAD to be Jamie, Ames and any one of a handful of third parties, so it wasn't a surprise it was Terry. The last 4 minutes or so summed up my love/hate with the show. Richmond is totally in bed with the Chief & Ames, without blinking an eye. I totally believed the Larson's reaction to the film Linden dropped off. Hell, I'll admit I even teared up watching it. And Linden just takes off to wherever...Sonoma, Chicago, to aimlessly drift amongst heavy-sweater wearing people. Emotional to WTF? along with a heavy dose of retconning.
I'm going to now clear my head with a heavy dose of (I hope) camp on True Blood. :lol
Wow Terry is one cold b*tch! Regardless of whether she knew Rosie was in the trunk, she had no problem sending that car into the water with a girl inside. Jamie was blinded by ambition, and Gwen's manipulations finally caught up with her. Linden let herself move on, which was nice to see. The Larsen's got to see their daughter was who they always thought she was.
Satisfying ending.
I actually watched most of the finale last night! I recorded and will wall it all later. I'm rather shocked that I predicted the killer in the beginning of season1! I think I posted it upthread a little, though I thought the cleared her early. Oh well, I should have none that meant nothing.
Can someone help me out though. Why did Terry act so mean, regarding Rosie and her sister, right after the death. Recall the cruel comments she made to Rosie's mom in Season 1? I don't get it.
Guilty conscience? Or maybe lack of one altogether. I really didn't think she had anything to do with Rosie's death, but I guess she was sketchier than I thought. Jamie was always a little weasel, so I'm not shocked there. Richmond going to the dark side...hmm. Didn't think he'd go there.
I was glad to see Linden let go, too. They set up a new murder investigation for next season - here's hoping for lots of Holder!
After checking this thread all season to learn the killer I don't even remember who she is!
I wasn't that surprised by Jamie, but the Terry thing did surprise me. I also didn't like that Richmond turned. I'm way too much of a mushy romantic, because I was hoping for a happy ending with Gwen and Richmond. I didn't hate Gwen so much. I had empathy for her because of her father and that SOB mayor who took advantage of a 14 yr old girl. Her father pimped her out and she learned, by him, that her sexuality was her main asset to get ahead.
Bring on season 3 with an all-Holder season! :) I just love his character!
