    Re: The Killing (AMC)

I accidently ran across the show last Sunday and the female detective was saying something about a substance that had been found on Rosie's body. I LOL. My goodness, they are still going on and on with this same murder case. I bet the actors are bored to tears by now. Even if the writing had been good, they have taken a good idea and ran it into the mud. Enough already.

I only pray they are not rewarded with some kind of an award nomination again. Though, perhaps I shouldn't say since I have not watched this season. I would like to know who the killer is going to be.

Did any of you watch or find out who the killer was in the European version of the show? I did, but I also heard that the American version would change the killer to a different person.

I read about who the killer was in the original version, but also read that our version would have a different killer. I hope maybe, sometime in the next twenty years, they actually tell us who it was.

I had to struggle to stay awake during this week's show. Once I found out that Holder was still alive, everything got dull afterwards. These casino people are just so out of control it's silly, and now the stupidity has spread to the clowns in charge at the police station. Geez.

    I'm going with unbalanced.

Life in general can be doom and gloom for various people. It makes things more realistic than a cookie cutter type of show with some fairy tale ending.

I love the show. I don't think it's boring or drawn out at all. It's definitley not typical American fare. It has made mis steps but it's a heck of a lot more interesting to watch than `solve a murder in sixty minutes' shows that overpopulate television.

what I don't understand is how this show got a second season when there are so many shows out there that deserve a 2nd season and IMO this is not one of them..the story never seems to go anywhere..I have not watched this season....all I want to know is who killed Rosie which is what they promised to give us at the end of season 1 but didn't deliver

It was given a second season very, very early in it's first season (when the ratings were actually good) and when they hadn't messed with us yet.

It was intended to be a two parter and they probably filmed it all together so the second season had already been produced. That is my guess. Once they had the venue and the lighting () and wardrobe () all in place why not just kept going.

When is the finale and if it's already aired, who was Rosie's killer? Please don't say they never revealed it. LOL
