I have looked over at the AMC message boards and there seems to be quite a bit of activity from avid fans. There are some criticisms, but most are posting all kinds of theories, without much concern of how poorly the show is written and what dumb attics the detectives seem to be. The detectives lack of skill is so distracting to me that I just can't enjoy it.

I read one theory on the AMC board that Bennet's wife is the killer! They say that she told detectives info that would set him up. They say she did it as payback because she was jealous over Rosey. Well, I can't see how that very pregnant woman could chase down Rosey, overcome her, tie her up and put her in the trunk of a car. Oh well, any thoughts on how viable that option is?

I don't think she is the killer but if she was, it would have to only be on the planning/involvement side. She would have had to hire to find at least one other person to help her in her condition.

I liked the show the first few weeks (interesting plot and characters), but now I am so ready for this show to end. For several weeks now, it's felt like the writers have added little side stories only to fill time.

Part of me has wondered for a while now if this show wouldn't be better off as a mini-series. This way the 13 days could be carried out over 5-6 episodes versus each day being one episode. I think it would make things feel like they weren't dragging and I feel like we could get some plot momentum each episode. Plus that way I think the characters would stay interesting versus the way it feels now. Like how Kip feels about them. (and I agree)

I may have missed this; is this the first time we have heard about Jacks father? An entire episode near the end is devoted to her son? I don't get it. She was upset and she didn't call her finace? That makes no sense. So her partner has a son and ex out there that contributes nothing to this show. Had we met them and watched this relationship it would have been good character development but alas all these people are gloomy and one dimentional.

I did not go the the AMC message board did find couple of others that reflected our frustration.

Last night's episode seemed very odd IMO. It was more interesting than the previous ones have been though. I was shocked that the lady that I assumed was Linden's friend is actually a social worker. That blows my mind. A social worker who stands by and sees how neglected that child is and does nothing? What? I do feel for Linden. Sounds like she had a horrible upbringing. It's too bad she's helping her son have a pretty rotten one too.

What did you think of the previews? Was that Rosie on the ATM camera at the Indian casino?

It looks like the mayor is turning over some top secret material to the candidate's female assistant.

I found this last episode more interesting, as well. It is because we saw more of Linden. Too little too late, however. We really don't know any of these characters thus we dont care. Next Sunday we get to see the next two episodes back to back and end this mess.

Yes, I do want it to end too. The way things are going, it may be the only way it is solved is if the killer comes into the station and confesses. I can't see Linden and her partner actually using investigative tools that might track the killer down.

Maybe if they follow the money, it will lead to Rosie's killer. I wonder if she was the one taking money out of her parent's bank accounts. Could she have been helping her dad launder money?

I have read theories that the aunt is responsible since she is jealous of the life and family her sister has.

Cany anyone confirm something about the opening scene of the series? Rosie was running from someone. Was she running through a field or trees and was she clothed or not?

She was clothed and the area was wooded but there was a clearing nearby that the cops searched when they were looking for her body. Also, FWIW, you can re-watch all the episodes on amctv.com.

I re-watched the last one because I fell asleep at the end. I now am convinced Holder is a genius comedian trapped in a cop job. Loved the bit about how pork rinds are vegetarian because they're snacks.

The episode felt out of place. It should have come earlier in the show and not at the end.

Clearly Rosie was depositing cash into the ATM at the casino. Where did she get the cash from? Was she hooking or possibly blackmail of some sort? That's probably what will lead us to her killer. I'm thinking she knew something that got her killed. There has been speculation that she had an older lover, since expensive pumps were found in her school locker. However, if she's been depositing cash, then she could have purchased them herself.

Linden was obsessed with Bennett, and therefore the detectives did not pursue other leads. You always start with the victim, who they knew, what they were into, etc. I think Linden has badly botched the job thus far.

Holder is just made of awesome.
