That makes sense. I rewound and rewound and thought the first letter was a N as in nailor, which doesn't make sense.

What still bothers me is that when she first looked at it, she said she recognized it. Does that mean she recognizes the killer, who is not her Mother?

I couldn't understand what she said either. I played it back three times. I thought she said it was her father's. First she says the print is not her fathers or mothers, but then says it's my father's. Does she have 2 fathers? Killer makes sense, but I just don't hear that. I'll replay again.

They are overdoing the police chief character. Come on? She is like a nonhuman and has no real human qualities. Rarely are one dimensional characters interesting or believable. Enough is enough.

    Re: Body of Proof

I believe what she said was "it's my father's KILLER"

Overall, I found the episode a bit lackluster. The hype seemed to be that she'd find out something about her father. ONE UNKNOWN FINGERPRINT one his suicide note is a lot less than what I was expecting.

I DVR'd but haven't watched it yet. I'll see if I can figure out the last sentence.

I haven't watched it yet, either, but I'll turn on closed captioning and see if it shows up.

    Re: Body of Proof

yup - I heard it as "father's killer"

I definitely like the cast additions but I did NOT like the chief. She was just nasty and didn't add anything.

And could Megan PLEASE stop wearing stilettos to crime scenes? LOL

    I heard fathers killer also.

While i dislike the police captain immensely, I rather enjoyed seeing Kate go head to head with her. Truly, she learned that level of thinly veiled, threatening diplomacy from Capt. Janeway. Lol.

What office is Kate running for again?

    A Congressional seat, I think?

The actress also played a police captain in the cancelled show, Memphis Blues. She projected the same type of personality there, as well, until we got to know her and then saw her softer side. I miss that show.
