    Just read that the Body of Proof finale had 10 million viewers, 12 million including DVRs etc.... With that many people watching you wonder why this show is in danger of being canceled. But from the article I read in TV Guide it said that this show reads old and that the viewing demographic is not the important 18-24 yr old. Well, I don't want to watch endless clones of Jersey Shore or Bad Girls Club. I want to watch something with a story and a bit of bite and maybe learn something. So screw the 18-24 demographic.

    You know Bearcata - to me, your comment illustrates just how out of touch these TV execs are. Let's all think back - when we were in that "all important" demographic, were we at home watching TV dramas at 10pm???? I know I wasn't. If I wasn't studying for class (hello - college years anyone?) at the bar or at a friend's house, then I was watching a movie or something random on MTV. I didn't have the time or inclination to follow a serious drama, and certainly nothing of the medical or police procedural style. Of course the show reads older, that is why it's on at 10. That is the timeslot for adult television - not teenycollegebopper television. There have to be different target demographics for different time slots.

    Yeah, and if they are upset that it doesn't appeal to their target demographic of 18-24 year olds, then why did they produce and air it to start with. I don't think many young people watch Mad Men either. They get low ratings too, but AMC chooses to keep them around because they win best drama every year and it's great tv. I respect AMC for that and for supporting Breaking Bad.
