Nothing like the GG to mix things up! Very few people who've won we're my picks, but I'm happy to see some people win who haven't won before.

Steve Buscemi gaave a nice speech, although I wish it'd been Jon Hamm.
At least we agree about Draper!

ITA about Chris Colfer, though I would agree with the previous poster that the writing for the character, and Kurt's character himself, have been good. And I don't think Chris himself would make any great claims for himself as a dancer (most of the cast are more singers than dancers, with a few key exceptions).

Dammit, I see I missed Katey Segal's win for SOA. Well, off to you tube.

What is with the way Angelina Jolie is sitting? She seems to be leaning backward at an odd angle into Brad's shoulder. How can that be comfortable for either of them?

Oh, wait, now that they're about to announce the winner, she sat up....and now that Annette Benning's won, perhaps she'll sink back down onto his shoulder again.

Dear me...who did Annette Benning's hair? It's not a good look.

I got the impression Angelina Jolie wasn't all that thrilled with his introduction to the category....

You know, I don't think I've ever heard anyone thank their sperm donor in an acceptance speech before. Not that it's offensive or anything, but it just seems like an odd time to thank him.

She needs to get a sense of humor. I thought it was hilarious. Really though, the fashion people on one the pre-shows were raving about her dress. Frankly, it looks like something Linda Evans wore on Dynasty. Ick.

I didn't see The Tourist or Love and Other Drugs, but I really don't think Annette Bening should have won that. It was a nice performance, but it wasn't earth-shatteringly good. This may be her year for an Oscar because she's lost out a few years when she really deserved it. I was kind of hoping Emma Stone would win. She was terrific in Easy A.

Mark Ruffalo played the sperm donor in The Kids Are Alright. She thanked the actors who played her kids too

Duh. It occurred to me after I typed that. Sorry--I seem to be unusually sleepy and dull today.

I'm not entirely sure that Tilda Swinton isn't a bit drunk. It is the Golden Globes, after all!
