Trust me; in future episodes Joffrey will make Malfoy look like a saint. He is truly repugnant.

what a great episode! I loved every minute of it. hmmmm Joffrey looks nothing like his father but an awful lot like his mother and uncle. I don't think he's the king's son, and what a disgusting little puke he is. It will be interesting to see his downward spiral. The series is making me want to pick up the books.
Please keep in mind that not everyone has read the books and anything that has not yet happened on the show is considered a spoiler. Be sure to use spoiler tags :up
I haven't read the books but cheated and read all the synopsis's for the books on wikipedia. So I have an idea of what is to come. It is still just as exciting watching. I re-watched the first episode before number 2 came on and caught allot of things I didn't the first time around. I think I will do that every time. So much good stuff happens that you miss a few things. Love this type of adventure story and this time frame. I love roman history or dark ages.
I could do without incest too but if you look back thru history allot of royal families were inbred or married cousins.
While I would never select a book like this to read, I must admit that I am really enjoying the show!
I knew Jaime Lannister looked familiar.

ahhhhhh thanks bearcata! it was bugging me
I finally watched episode 2 and I was just devastated that one of the dire wolves was "put down". How awful those freaking Lannisters are! I can't wait for some awful, awful things to happen to them. My guess is I will be waiting a long time or the show would be over pretty quickly.
And I was glad that servant taught Drogo's wife a new position, it was starting to feel like I was watching that old movie Quest for Fire!
I'm pretty excited because I finally figured out that I can sign into by parent's Comcast account online and watch this show there. Now I don't have to wait until I go over to parent's house and watch it On Demand. (We both have Comcast, but they pay for HBO and I don't)
