Then she revealed she is having a girl.

They then talked about what she is afraid of and she said not knowing what labor is going to be like because no one will tell her or can really explain it. They all went on about how horrible it is, poor Melissa. They scared her even more.

That's about all. It was pretty short. She looked lovely.
GEESH! Nothing like testing Mel's poise (while she's preggo). :nono

Maybe it will be on youtube...I'd like to see it.

Thank you for the info; excellent recap!

    Re: The Talk

I was slightly irritated by Meghan McCain the other day.
I felt she had quite the attitude, sitting slumped on the sofa with her elbow leaning on the back of it.
She seems to get rather irritated when asked about Sarah Palin. Those questions are bound to be asked, take your irritation out on your father for unleashing her on the world.
When she was on The View she said she'd come back to see them when her book was out and tell them what she thought of Palin. Now her usual respibse seems to be a somewhat terse "it's all in my book".
Meghan might just need to get over herself. She's famous and has a career purely because she's a McCain.

I thought the same thing about Megan. I've always liked her out spoken nature so much. But she kind of seemed like a spoiled brat getting annoyed if the ladies asked a question she's been asked before. I felt sorry for her mother having to sit next to that behavior.

I did too. I couldn't understand why she was so petulant for part of the interview.
I've seen her be pretty warm and humble in the past, so it was quite a surprise.

Anyone still watching? I'm a couple of days behind. I was disappointed with the episode a few days ago. Three segments on Chaz Bono and three on the animal guy--Jack Hannah? They don't normally do three segments with one person and I'm not sure Chaz was the best one. He wasn't a great speaker, in my opinion. And I always fast forward the animal guy, so it was a waste of a show to me.

I do catch it once a week or so. If I know who is going to be on and I'm interested (e.g Jeff Probst) I will set the DVR to record it. I actually do like the show quite a bit. Leah kinda irritates me and I can usually do w/o Holly but Julie, Sarah and Sharon are enjoyable for the most part. I like this show a LOT better than The View

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

    Re: The Talk

I've seen some reports today that the cast for this show is expected to be shaken up for the second season, and that Leah and Holly are unlikely to be asked back. I really hope that's not true. I love chemistry of all the women. Leah's outspoken nature amuses me, and I think the show would be rather boring without it. I don't feel as attached to Holly as I do Leah, but I really like her too.I really don't want to see this show change.

    Re: The Talk

I watched a couple of epis on my vacation and I thought the show was okay - Leah has a mouth on her and she comes off very abrasive - she has no filter. I actually like Holly, which shocked me. I'd love to see them keep Holly, but wouldn't be disappointed if they changed out Leah.

Sharon cracks me up - one day she said to Sarah she didn't know how her and her partner had sex - too funny!!!

    Re: The Talk

I like what Leah brings to the show, because she seems to keep the women honest. There are times you can tell one of the other women is dancing around something she really wants to say, and Leah has a way of pulling out of them with her bluntness. I like that. I also like that when they call her out on something, she owns it. She defintiely does dish it, but she can take it too. One of the reports I read said that there are big issues between Julie and most of the other women. It sounds like Julie may be throwing her weight around because of her husband. She's really been growing on me the past few years, and I'd be dissapointed if it turned out that is true and she really does use her marriage to get ahead.

    Re: The Talk

I don't normally watch the show, but have seen it a few times.

How did the ladies relate to Jack Hannah? I used to like him, but changed my opinion of him after he so vehemently defended the continued captivity and entertainment use of the large whale at Sea World that killed its trainer about a year ago. He really didn't seem to have any compassion for the those large whales. It was as if he was being paid by Sea World to protect their interests. I don't care to watch him anymore.
