    I missed it, too.

I loved today's game. The women did great, and although it was nice to see Sara win her third game, I was rooting big for Liz.

I don't even remember what the FJ was lol. I didn't pay attention to that today.

The FJ answer actually came to me out of nowhere, I was surprised: McKinley was the first president to be elected in an Olympic year (1896).

I think I knew this because of the Broadway musical Assassins.

    Re: Jeopardy!

We have been watching this show for "eons." My hubby watches it every weekday night like a religion. He can usually give the answers, and I've urged him several times to try out, but he consistently says "no."

When and if Alex Trebek ever retires, I wonder what the network will do?
He is a fine and educated gentleman and a one-of-a-kind host. He also hosts the National Geographic geography bee each year.

If they decide to end the series if Trebek retires, I personally wish for them to, like, re-run every Trebek season there has ever been. Probably won't happen though.

Does anyone remember Jeopardy when it was a daytime game show with Art Flemming as host? I was a really young child, honest but I still remember it.

Good game. I'll comment more on it at 8pm.

I do, I was a small child as well. Also remember the daytime Wheel of Fortune with a very young (& thin) Chuck Woolery.

If Alex Trebek retires (which I doubt would happen for years), they would just find a new host. If The Price Is Right could survive without Bob Barker, than everything is off the table.

    Re: Jeopardy!

Alright, now, let's discuss today's game.

Congratulations to Kathleen. I was happy she won. Had a good comeback and took the lead back right at the last clue, I think. The only one to get the FJ right, too. I myself knew Van Gogh but had no clue who the painter was. Good luck to her tomorrow.

Oh Goody, Goody! A Jeopardy thread! My favorite game show! I yell at, a least, one contestant a week because I can't believe the way that some of them look! (Especially the women) Don't they know that they're going to be on TV? They don't fix their hair and they don't put on makeup! Some of them are just awful! Yes, I know, very shallow but I've been dying to say that, to fellow Jeopardy fans, for a long time! Please tell me that some of you have noticed too!
