It's Treat Williams (who just showed up on Chicago Fire as the elder Severide)

    Hawaii 5-0 remake

Oh I am sooo tempted to look but I can't...

    EDIT:

So I was just on the Hawaii Five-0 Facebook page and would you believe some viewers are offended because Danno, a fictional character, no less, had the audacity to share his anit-gun opinion on this past episode. That secene where Steve and Danno were in the gun shop and Danno said something along the lines of: "Guns don't kill people, people kill people", is a stupid phrase, because idiots with guns kill people", was apparently very offensive to some viewers; they said they're not going to watch the show anymore because of this.

Um, okay...are people in this world really this stupidly overly sensitive that even a fictional character can't have a political viewpoint anymore??

    Wow...just wow...

An original Ep airs daily at 11 am on CW ... but the original Hookman episode wasn't in the schedule.

I thought it was great that he said it .... because ... there was a difference of opinion between McGarett and Danno ... and it also showed the Gun Shop owner's perspective. It was just a multi-viewpont commentary on something that is currently screaming in the news.

Exactly. It showed it from the perspective of all three of them. But the pro-gun critics instantly jumped on Danno's comment, ignoring the rest.

So Treat Williams is playing Steve's mom's love interest. Love how Steve's plan for Treat's character to investigate his mom backfired...lol. He sure didn't see that one coming.

I so enjoy watching Treat Williams. It looks as if he has two recurring roles now, Neal's dad on White Collar and Logan on H50. Well cast for both, I think.

Summer Glau as Maggie was also a treat. Her character reminded me of an adult River Tam type, which fits her talents well. She continues to prove that ballet dancers make excellent athletes.

Looks like he's become the go-to TV dad, of late.

He's also Severide's dad on the firefighter show, Chicago Fire...may not be used much, but still... go to dad indeed!

Finally, a brand new episode tonight after what has seemed like forever. Really good show with some Steve / Catherine conflict. Poor Catherine, getting caught in the middle of Steve and Doris' issues. At least he made it up to Catherine in the end, thankfully. Loved the opening sequence with Dog the Bounty Hunter and Co.

Now as to who burglarized Doris' house?? Only God knows.
