SO happy for Claire Danes. I guess this means I have to watch Temple Grandin, which I've put off watching.

Aaaand, she didn't thank Hugh. Doh!

    TB actors coming up!

I noticed that while the NBC Sports goon got about double time, without the slightest hint of a pipe off, with Strathairn the music started up in the background about 45 seconds in (but then I guess the Director re-evaluated a bit and shut it down).

Yeah, that was very trypically NBC. Let the boring chump witter on but try to play off the good-looking actor. So, so wrong.

    Late to the party.

    1. Beautiful January Jones in that hideous dress and hair looking like she just woke up. What the...?

    2. Haven't seen the Kevorkian movie, but from the clips Al Pacino is amazing, as always.

    3. Kate G. go away.

    Askars

Stephen and Anna look like miniatures next to him.

    They do
He's one of the few blond men I've ever been attracted to.
No idea if he can act.

Temple Grandin fast becoming this years Grey Gardens.

She's in my top three for worst dressed along with Anna Paquin and Christina Hendricks.

Kyra Sedgwick gets best dress, but not best dressed because I didn't like her hair or accessories.

He actually CAN act, although it probably wouldn't matter if he couldn't!

I couldn't get through even 10 minutes of Grey Gardens. I like Jessica Lange And Drew Barrymore, but I just could not watch that movie.

Al Pacino wins, of course. That's some bad hair dye, Al.

Can we just have Alex stand on stage behind the winners all night so I have something pretty to look at?

ETA: Yup, JJ looks horrid. She's joining the Geena Davis school of bad awards show outfits. Half the time she looks great and the other half she looks like a Glamour Magazine "don't." The hemline on January's dress actually looks like that black and white contraption Geena wore many years ago. Shouldn't there be a rule that, if you're wearing earrings that cost more than most houses, you should wear your hair back to show them off? I'll bet the company who loaned her those is thrilled
