    The Good Guys

I searched, but did not locate a thread for this new NBC show. If there is one, I hope the moderators will move it.

I've found the first two episodes of The Good Guys to be a highly entertaining summer show. I've heard that NBC has committed to thirteen episodes. It stars Colin Hanks as a young, buttoned down, modern police officer who gets into enough trouble with his supervisors to be assigned to investigate small crimes with a boozy, old school, always-in-trouble partner played by a very funny Bradley Whitford. It's got the feel of a USA series, which I mean to be a compliment.

Oh, I guess I missed the first episode then. But I watched last week's and thought it was pretty good.

I've watched one (recent) episode, and admit it grew on me over the episode. I'd probably watch again if there were nothing else on, but I'm not sure I'd tape it. Pleasant but not gripping. Tom Hanks kid can hold his own as an actor though.

I agree PWS. It's grown on me, but not enough to want to watch it automatically if it's on. I've watched a few, simply because there isn't anything else on right now. I think there's a real solid reason why it's a summer show and not a Fall show.

I watched the first episode and haven't watched any others. Does anyone feel like it's improving? I might give it a second look if so.

    I've not seen it yet.
I do agree about Colin Hanks, though.
I saw him in a movie with Diane Lane and I thought he did a better than average job in it.

I did read that this show, however, is doing very poorly in the ratings, so don't know if Fox will continue it.

Drive! I still wonder what that was all about! They never even put those online, did they?
