Be like me....2 vcrs (yes, actual tape!) and then I also watch as well...can handle 3 shows at once... however there have been Thursdays with 4 good things on in the past...arrgh!

I will probably watch Castle live and tape H 5-0, but I also hope it is good... "Jin" and one of my favorite former vampires on one show!

    Fall Premiers 2010-2011

Does anyone know when the new shows will premier on the various networks? I thought that they'd usually released schedules by now, but I can't find anything.

    Re: Fall 2010 Schedules

Well, we have our first casualty of the new season. Fox just canceled Lone Star after two episodes. I'm pretty surprised by this one since this show got such great advance buzz and the critics loved it. I would have thought Fox would give it a better time slot or would at least move it to another time slot to give it a chance. It's not like they're drowning in critically acclaimed shows. It always ticks me off when well done shows are canceled.

Now watch that Shatner sitcom will get a full season pick up.

    Re: Fall 2010 Schedules

I have to admit that I'm not surprised by the cancellation of Lone Star, though I am surprised to hear that it was critically admired. The one local critic I read (Toronto Star) did not care for it at all. I watched 15 minutes and gave up - I found it turgid and the lead not at all charming or charismatic, so I had absolutely no interest in what he was doing.

The unfortunate thing, well, one of the many unfortunate things, about the Shatner show is that it is neatly tucked between Big Bang and CSI. Has there ever been a better buffer system for a crap show?
