I LOVE this show - so well done and realistic. They have much more realistic arguments than say, Brothers & Sisters did.

This week solidified that I despise Jasmine. She's so nasty and controlling and Crosby has done good by her. She's an ass.

I wonder if they'll have trouble with Mark and Sarah so she can flock to Ray Romano (forget his character's name) or will they completely break them up? I like them together. The whole situation with Drew is a little sticky though.

Monica Potter has been great as Kristina. I just wish she didn't invite Max's friend over. That was pretty asinine.

    Love this show.
Kristina has always been great about over-estimating what she can handle. Agreeing to have Max's friend for the weekend was just one more example of that. Plus she hates to say no to or not be nice to anyone. I mean that couple came over to see how she was and she spent more time caring for them because she didn't want to not be nice. She's really terrible when it comes to putting herself first. Even now. I loved it when Adam packed up the kids and went over to Crosby's to get weed for Kristina. LOVED THAT!!! Speaking of Crosby, I find myself FF'ing thru any scene with Jasmine so I miss quite a bit of his stuff. I cannot stand her. I didn't like her before they broke up and I like her even less now. I don't get what he sees in her and based on her personality don't know what she sees in him.

I think Mark and Sarah are done with... once Hank kissed her that sealed things IMO. She was already obsessing over him (which Mark already realized) and I was kinda surprised Mark didn't question her somewhat turn around on moving in together. Mark is a stand up guy and has been super patient with Sarah but he's gonna end up broken hearted Poor Drew is so messed up but then again having flighty Sarah for a single-mom hasn't help him! LOL! He's been really direct about how he feels about things. He may not be up front about it but when he tells you how he feels he puts the truth right out there.

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

I'm all caught up now... yay! PWS, you were so right... Kristina's storyline has been very well done. Thanks again for prodding me along to return. It's been well worth the while
Yay! OK, I won't feel too guilty about all the post chemo stuff I put you through!

Re the Mark vs. Ray R. (why can none of us remember his character name?) discussion, I'll be sorry to lose "Mark"--he's a cutie and I've always liked that actor. But I agree, all the emphasis they've put on the age difference certainly implies that this relationship is doomed. Now how much older than the actress is Ray?

I don't want Mark and Sarah to break up. I honestly like these two as a couple. Are we sure that Mark will leave our tv screen??? Did Mr. Ritter (can't think of the actor's first name) say he's leaving the show? Hank(thanks for reminding me of his name) is just meh, for me.

Obviously, Christina's cancer story is a huge downer but they're doing a fantastic job of portraying what it must be like for a woman/family to live with it each and every day. I understand why TPTB are addressing this issue but I just wish it wasn't encompassing most of the show's storylines this season.

We need to see more of the parents!
    LOVE this show!

Fear not, it may not be the last season!! It was always renewed for a 15 episode season for this year with no indication about next. I've heard/read that with how well it's doing another season looks more promising now.

    Re: Parenthood

I am late to the party on this show~found it while channel surfing one night (it is amazing what shows I stumble on when control of the remote is mine!) but I simply love the writing of this show. They portray REAL story lines and I often find myself sobbing (especially with the Kristina cancer storyline). I can understand so many struggles and joys; as copules, families and parents.

I am not usually a Craig T. Nelson fan, but I find him particulary endearing in this show. LOVE LOVE Bonnie and as for Hank (Ray Romano) I think the writing was on the wall when they brought him in!

I certainly hope this show will be renewed as I am loving my Tuesday nights!

I agree, I like the Ritter kid (and his late dad), but I think TPTB are intending her for Ray.

I'm liking the vet story as well... especially like that (so far anyway) he isn't into punching his girlfriend, etc. , while still having some kind of hinted at PTSD issues.

Kristina dancing with Max...her having a near normal mom/son experience...really touching, while the show does a good job of showing how rare/and why those events are.

I'm loving the show too. I've had a little crush on Jason Ritter since he was in a short lived sit-com called The Class back in the early 2000 (I just wish he'd shave that sparse beard!) He's doing a great job. Sarah gets on my nerves more than Jasmine - although I do agree with the rest of you, she's a piece of work! She's going to be just like her mother LOL
I hate that they gave Kristina breast cancer, how much can you heap on one family? Loving the storyline with Ryan (the vet) and Amber (hate her, I have since the beginning of the series) This new story with Crosby and the rich neighbour lady across the back alley is just odd. So now Adam is parenting a baby, a high maintenance pre-teen with Aspbergers, his wife is fighting breast cancer and now he's going to have to fight for his business too? It's a bit much.

Adam's name should have been Job.
