There's another new 6-episode British series starting on PBS tomorrow night. Title is "Last Tango in Halifax." It stars Derek Jacobi and Anne Reid as childhood sweethears and who reconnect via Facebook. I'll definidely be taking a look. Apparently it's been renewed for a season 2 in England. Here's a link for anyone who might be interested.

Thanks Florimel. I'm really looking forward to this one. It's gotten really good reviews, too.

My pleasure, Fanny Mare. I loved it, too, and I was sorry to see it had ended. I hadn't realized it was only a three-episode mini series.

I found it on Wikipedia and saw that there had been six episode of season 1, but they seem to cover all the same material so I wonder if they were six half-hours instead of three hours.

The good news is that I found there was a season 2, so I'm hoping we'll get that on PBS, too. It also listed a season 3, which is supposed to be filmed sometime this year.

Downton Abbey starts airing on ITV this coming Sunday, which means MFW and I will soon be communicating via spoiler tags in this thread!

I think season 3 of Sherlock should be starting in a few months too. Finally!

There's actually six more episodes (season 2), and a season 3 is planned, as well. I'm not sure if/when they'll be airing, but I'm hopeful we'll be able to see them soon.

One website I found says Series 2 won't air until May 2014. Ugh. That's a long time to wait.
