Yes, this series of Mr. Selfridge is awesome. Loving the Lady Loxley story. I'm so glad I stuck with this show during the first series when I couldn't stand Piven's Selfridge screaming in my ear. I loved his toned down version this series. I think I even like it more than Call the Midwife now. I can really tell that the original Jenny stories are over.

Which Selfridge character are you Which Mr. Selfridge Character are You? | Season 2 | Mr. Selfridge | Masterpiece | PBS I am

    Lady Mae Loxley

Like Mr. Selfridge's London socialite, Lady Mae Loxley, you're no stranger to the good life and are accustomed to making and breaking elite social reputations with no more than the arch of an eyebrow. But with power comes great responsibility. Rather than squander or abuse it, you can deploy it in the name of good.

I wanted to be Mrs. Selfridge (because I really like her) but I'm Lady Loxley.

JM, I couldn't agree more! I was not a fan of Lady Mae in season 1 but in S2 with Lord Loxley returning it's really given us a chance to see there's some depth/dimension to Mae

I still enjoy CtM very very much but find I race to view Selfridge first on the DVR!

Personally I find these humane mouse traps rather ineffective. Better to lay down some glue and when you hear the critter scream you take a shovel to his head.

Same here! Last season I raced to watch CtM and eventually got around to Selfridge episodes. As a result of that past history, at the beginning of this season I let 3-4 episodes of Selfridge pile up on the DVR. Once I binge-watched them, I was more-than-ever super excited to keep going!!!!!
