    Golden Globes 2010

It seems as though Billy Bush, Vanessa Minillo and Natalie Morales didn't bother to prepare a range of questions to ask the celebs on the red carpet.
Bush keeps asking people if they're wet and Minillo called Simon Baker's gorgeous curls "matted".
No sure who I'm going to call as best dressed so far.

I'm staying away from the pre-show, since they always hire complete morons to do the red carpet. It's a mystery to me how Billy Bush keeps getting hired.

I've got my fingers crossed for Glee tonight! Also, hoping for a win for Jon Hamm or Michael C. Hall, as well as for Mad Men or Dexter! As long as either of those two win, I'll be happy!

ETA: I love Triue Blood, but I don't think it has a chance, although it would be nice to see Anna get the award. If the show wins, I'll be shocked, although I think it deserves it, especially for "I Will Rise Up," which I think is the best episode from any show this year. I know a lot of people just think of it as "that vampire show."

The path from the audience to the stage doesn't appear to be obvious to the winners. They have to nudge through seated tables. And the cameramen have missed a few nominees! You'd think they'd have the process down by now. Glad Meryl Streep won for Julie and Julia. Fun that she was nominated for two movies.

Doesn't anyone think Avatar is a little over-rated? I thought it was visually amazing, but too long, kinda boring, and much of the dialogue was corny and canned. The best part of the movie was the early part as we are introduced to all the creatures of Pandora. After that...meh.

Precious, on the other hand, was so moving. I also saw Up in the Air today and liked it a lot.

This is not a big deal, but I always kind of like to see who the current 'Miss Golden Globe' is, since the "honor" goes to a daughter of a celebrity. This year's Miss Golden Globe, Mavis Spencer, seemed to give off an air of entitlement to me. If I'm remembering correctly, when they announced her name, she didn't seem to smile, and seemed a little full of herself. Beautiful girl, but I didn't care for her attitude. :nono
