OMG - yes Rita Glossner!! She's hysterical!

I love Marsha Mason as Frankie's mom, and Van Dyke as her dad -- and the appearance of Dick Van Dyke and doing his signature trip as he came into the Heck house.

Norm MacDonald is splendid as Mike's brother....

The casting is fantastic on this show.

I love this show and all the characters/actors! The Halloween episode was great and the ending of who it was was unexpected but hilarious. I so can relate to Frankie many times. One of my favorites was a mothers day episode where she wanted to be alone but then got all mad because mike and the kids went out and had fun without her. That is me! I want to be alone but then don't!! Can't wait for tonight's episode.

    Wow - good show..

Although, Patricia Heaton is treading into Joan Rivers territory with all the face lifts, nips and tucks....so much for being a low class family living in The Middle.

God, I love this show. It isn't aging. It's realistic. Trust me, their `paying the bills' system is darn close to my life.

I really like this show. Started watching almost by accident a year or so ago then I watched the repeats they run on Hallmark. My favorite characters are Mike the dad, and the youngest boy Brick. Wanna hug him!

I can't wait for the new season to start. I love this show. My all time favorite episode was when Sue made the volleyball team and they ended up putting her in on the game point. She ends up winning the point (pretty much with her head), but it was hilarious. I was reminded of this episode last week where my daughter was smacked with the ball in her face and another girl hit the ball over with her shoulder.

I enjoyed the season premiere. The actress playing Axl's pretty (but dumb) new girlfriend April is Kelsey Grammer's daughter IRL. Her role is recurring, so we'll be seeing more.

Touching scene where Frankie sees them and realizes her son loves the girl.

    Love Brick!

I agree. He was being so gentle with her but lets face it she is not the sharpest tool in the shed. I just hope she is as sweet as she appeared.

I hope Sue breaks up with Jeremy. I don't get them as a couple. I liked her better with Darrin.
