Looks like my favourite comedy block has been renewed :yay.
Renewal Scorecard: What's Coming Back? What's Getting Axed? What's on the Bubble? - TVLine
The first part of the Paintball episode on the finale of "Community" was so well written that it shouldnt even be on TV. This show has some definate ups and downs. But, the ups are so far above what is the rest of comedy television that it is worth watching some of the down episodes forty times just for one episode of such a high caliber as the Paintball episode.
I actually thought the first-part of the paintball episode this year was a bit meh. I enjoyed the paint-ball episode last season more.
I think if they had aired the entire paintball 2-parter it would have made the first half seem stronger. I think the action of the second half will be really good! Who is the ice cream?!
The ice cream sounded like a woman at the end of the episode where it was telling them it was war. I love this show and am so glad it will be coming back for another season!

While the rest of you are watching Big Bang, I'm still watching Community.
It's back! And it's good again!
I like how Dan Harmon basically reset the show while at the same time returning it to its old self. We have the core group back with renewed purpose, and now we get to see the inner lives of the faculty too, and how they are just as screwed as the students. I like that Jeff is his coarse self again -- I didn't need to see the touchy-feely sides of Jeff last year, it seemed cheap. He should be dragged kicking and screaming into doing the 'right' thing, or at least he should be doing it if there's an angle in it for him. That's just Jeff, and I'm glad he's back.
I'm glad Chang has an actual reason to be in lots of scenes again -- he was stuck in a bubble for a while. I like Jonathan Banks' teacher character -- he's not just a mere replacement for Pierce, there's more to him. The Nicholas Cage class made me laugh, as did many lines. I think it's going to be a good season, even if we're not done saying goodbye to some of the cast (one more person is leaving, I won't spoil it but it's been all over the media coverage for the past few months, and there were a few huge hints dropped in the first episode).
