I don't watch this show regularly, but I read about the hype for last night's paintball episode all over the Net, so I checked it out, and it was awesome. :lol
I still may not watch every week, but this was a great half-hour.

I usually catch it a day later. Last night's was hilarious. I can't even count how many tropes they got through.

I am, and I looooove it. I tape it while watching Survivor, but can't resist peeking during commercials. Last night when Abed and Troy were rescuing Jeff and recruiting him for the cause I got so absorbed I almost forgot to switch back. Freakin' hilariously dead-on take on one of those silly sci-fi action movies. "I thought you were dead " :rofl.Quote:

I also loved the Goodfellas parody they did a few weeks back. Community is really one of the best new shows of this season.
And speaking as a big Glee fan, I also loved the continued snipes at it. "Write your own songs!"
I am so frustrated I can't watch this regularly---it's so good whenever I do. But I only have 2 VCRs and one set of eyes... that means only 3 shows at a given time, max! And Th right now just has too many good shows. I figure the NBC comedies can mostly be watched out of order over the summer, so that's what I plan to do....
Oh. My. Word.
This week's paintball contest was HYSTERICAL! I probably didn't get ALL the movie references, but it was still great comedy.
Joel McHale... Ummm.... pretty buff!! :tongue
I adore this show - so amazing! The pottery episode?
Oh yes, we need more shirtless Joel McHale episodes. Most sitcoms don't have eye candy for the ladies and I for one appreciate it.
They have the last few episodes up on the NBC site. Another one not to miss is the one having to do with the Chicken Finger Mafia. Wait, I just looked it up and it's called "Ep. 121: Contemporary American Poultry".
Hopefully they will show it and not air other things during the summer. I find the networks don't air reruns as much as they used to during the summer.Quote:

The writing's pretty good. They seem to refer to pop culture a lot. :)
