The Tonight Show - NBC (formerly The Jay Leno Show)

I admit to not being a big fan of Leno's so I am wondering how others are feeling about his new show. Is this really going to be a "big deal"? Do you think it will do well?

And what do you think about NBC's taking away most of their drama series and giving all that time over to yet another comedy/talk show?

Leno's okay, but I really resent what NBC has done with loading the schedule with this. Oh well, plenty of other things to watch instead.

I'm was not a fan of Leno on the Tonight Show... his reading the monologue from cue cards was too distracting. Granted they all do that but he was so blatant that it was distracting. I'll definitely not be watching his new show. Why, besides money, NBC would remove ALL of their 10pm programming in favor of this is beyond me.

This will be great ratings for Leno. I doubt he gets booted off.

Personally Im a long time Letterman fan and I cant stand Jay. I dont think a
10pm talk show will last.

I'm not a big fan of his and I've not seen his show in ages.
I can understand that NBC is looking to save costs; I'm just not sure that this move is going to bring in the revenue they're looking for.

Ditto! I adore him. He's the only late night host that I love, although Jimmy Kimmel is OK. Fallon, I pass. I had a dalliance with Ferguson but it ended quickly; he is too full of himself. Oh, and Conan is hilarious and crazy in a good way.

Jay has such a kind, sweet heart and seems so humble. When he razzes his guests, it is in a good-natured way (unlike Letterman). Though Letterman did soften (a bit) right after he became a father. Jay is the only one that I would love to meet in person to have a sit-down talk or a ride on one of his bikes.

What stunt did Kanye pull at the VMA's? That other one he did a while back disgusted me, and I don't like his "music" either.
