I do think that the "evil" bother Damon/Damian actually has presence while "good" brother Stephan needs a good shot of testosterone. I don't think he was even that good looking.QUOTE]

Yep, I know it's only an "ok" show when I find myself rooting for the evil brother over the good one! In this case evil is much more fun and sexy!!

E! has this as one of the shows to watch, so I wonder if they are getting kick backs or something......I mean it's OK, compared to other stuff, but I'm sure there's better dramas starting this season.

BTW, I am recording Flash Forward on fri, so it helps, but I wonder if it will repeat there every Fri or just this week.

Too bad for Ian this is getting royally panned everywhere. I would have liked to see one episode at least, but my 2 vcrs and me will be otherwise occupied. Hate how so much is crammed into Th.
Thank you! Yes, Boone, not Booth! (Though funnily enough, they've both now played a vampire at one point in their careers.)

My husband and I rather liked it, much better than 90210 and Gossip girl. It is for a younger audience like those shows, except for the vampire element (I love vamps). The two brothers look nothing alike, except for coloring. Ian Somerhalder is prettier than any of the girls (but that would be true for anything he is in), but he is nicely menacing in this. He should be the lead as he is a much better actor than the lead actor (and much better looking), but I like his bad boy role. It looks good on him.

Well, this show must be doing well with a audience as the Sept 28 TV Guide has another article about it.

Finally had a chance to watch episode 2. I thought it was much better than episode 2. Damian is simply delicious. Overall I can feel the teen angst in this series. If the writing continues to improves like this than the show will do well. As for me watching it, I prefer a show with more bite.

Episode 3, Stefan joining the football team, kinda bleah.

Caught the last 10 minutes of episode 4, aha, thinks are looking up. Might be worth watching ep 5. The townspeople know about the vampires and are preparing to do something about them. mmmmmm...........

Oh, when Elena's aunt finds out that her ex Logan is using her I hope she reams him.

I'm starting to get more interested in this show.. since I think it'll last and it's one of the few purely "fluff" shows I still watch.

I had a chuckle over Damian critiquing Twilight in the episode last week.

Loved that! I also liked how Stefan tricked him into drinking the Verbain. Pretty clever.
