Seriously, right?!? I prob. would've cheered and said good riddance. And then where would this season be. :doh I'm loving Caroline and think she and Damon are the best leads on the show right now. :nodQuote:

I thought I was old enough to stop wanting to tame the bad-boy and get bored with the good-boy. I think the new woman vampire from last weeks episode will become Damon's new love interest, hence the Damon/Elena closure. Only now, Elena will admit her feeling for Damon to herself and we'll see a jeolousy storyline developing! Could be fun!!
Does anyone else find it odd that this was the first mention of Elena being a descendent of Catherine's? So that means it was either her mother or her father who was Catherine's kin. Yet we saw both interract with her and she never said anything or intimated that they were related. (Nevermind the fact that she turned the mother and chopped off the father's finger!) Maybe I missed it, but I would've thought something like this would've been discussed much longer than the amount of time they spent on it this past episode.
I'm sorry. I just don't like things like this thrown in there willy nilly to move the story along. It should've been disclosed or at least thrown out there as an idea much earlier than this, I think. Okay, vent over. :winkgrin
I'm behind a bit... just watched the episode from 2 weeks ago, and was there no show this week or did my dvr just not record it?
Catherine has quite the history but it was good to finally hear her backstory and how she was created. I almost felt sorry for her about the baby,,, almost! Lots of backstories in that episode and foundation setting again. More new characters, but guess you got to keep including new people when the old ones keep dieing!
If I remember correctly there isn't a new show for another two weeks. With next week being American Thanksgiving, I think a new episode will be on the following week.
New episode on Dec 2.
FYI: TV Guide had a bit of a poll of who is the most bad ass vampire and Damon won over Eric and Bill of True Blood.
Hmmmmm, REALLLLLy now??? That is a fun poll to think about for those of us that watch both shows!!;) I have to give this some thought, but I'd put Damon up against Eric for a close call on the most bad ass vampire. Bill? Left behind in the dust compared to these two.:lol Because VD is currently on air I'd give Damon the edge, but come TB season, well... HBO usually exposes a bit more skin which might just give Eric the win!!Quote:

Now Eric versus Damon...Eric is bad as in 'naughty boy' kind of bad while Damon is bad as in 'I'm going to snap your brother's neck' kind of bad. No matter how much Eric dislikes Jason, he wouldn't do that to Sookie, so I guess Damon is more bad. Now looks-wise -- if Ian Somerholder were taller it might be a harder decision but I like my vampires big and Viking, so give me Alexander Skarsguard any day. :lovestruc But Ian is gorgeous as well.Quote:
