For the above poster regarding Survivors (a favorite in our house) it is no longer in production.

Yay, we're finally getting season 2. I'm stoked, it's been way too long. This show is fantastic. I never saw the original pilot with the 2 other actors, but I love the trio they have now.
The SyFy channel is developing an American version of Being Human. Yipes that is a scary thought. On the other hand the original British version has been picked up for a 3rd year and is filming in Cardiff, Wales.

Ah, for just one time I would take the Northwest Passage.
Glad to hear that BH has been picked up for a 3rd season.
I heard about the US version *cringes*, they wanted to make Mitchell's character into a woman. It's in the crapper before they even get started, IMHO, if they do that.
There is an article about Being Human in the TV Guide and in TV GuideOnline about the gender switching but I think they decided not to do that. Honestly why screw the story up like that?Originally Posted by ASassyKat;4000074;

I can see American TV screwing it up. Please, just let us enjoy our show.
Its funny when I told a friend about this great show with a vampire, werewolf and ghost, he asked if it is a comedy ala Young Ones. I had to explain it to him.

The season 2 premiere was fantastic, although I confess I wanted to b*tchslap Nina upside the head a few dozen times.
Annie getting a job....![]()
That was hysterical! I think the customer guy will be around a bit longer. Wonder who really he is?!Originally Posted by ASassyKat;4006002;
As for Nina, well I think her reasoning in the end was a viable explanation and kind of sad.

ITA ! Just let us watch it on BBC, why do we need another, and undoubtedly screwed up, version?Originally Posted by libgirl2;4002300;
I'm really liking the new season, though I feel bad for Annie becoming an unseeable ghost again and scary old guy is really freaking me out. I don't want to see George end up in a pressure chamber!
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this -- they're suddenly blurring out swears and covering up nudity and something in a newspaper-- what's up with that?? Not that I really care but I remember BBC always being more lax than US channels... Does anyone know why they made these changes??
Oh...and an Americanized version -- ((shudders))
