The Good Wife (CBS): Talk about a timely series. Julianna Margulies stars as Alicia, the wife of a disgraced politician (a still sexy but ashamed Chris Noth) whose criminal activities have landed him in jail. Alicia reenters the workforce where she deals with hotshot litigator Diane (Christine Baranski) and young, hungry whippersnapper Cary (Matt Czuchry). The pilot was strong as was the cast. I have high hopes.

I think this is going to be a great show. I had not planned to watch any new series but I just may this one.


I no longer have Boston Legal, ER and I don't watch CSI vegas since my two favs left.

It does look good, but I'm very wary of watching any new dramas in case they get cancelled.

I figure even if I have a little time with them it's still better than game shows and dating shows and buys me some time away from that. I will forever miss Swingtown though.

I so agree. I just get interested in a new show and they cancel it ala swingtown...and the yearly merrygo round with Friday night lights
