    Re: The Good Wife

Eli killed me last night ...I didn't care for this character when he was first in the picture but I have grown to really like him. Julianna is always gorgeous but yes she looked amazing last night. I agree that Will's girlfriend should have gone to London but I guess it makes sense plot wise... Alicia says she is married and Will is just a friend so Will gets connected with someone again just when Alicia's marriage is going to take another blow that would have made her more vulnerable to Will (or at least that is what we expect to happen). It is the continuing story between the two of them of timing. They never seem to get to the same place at the same time. Way to keep the Will/Alicia angst going writers . Can't wait for the next few shows but it will be bitter sweet because then the season will be over and I will have to go into Good Wife withdrawal.

I wanted her to go to London because I cannot stand the actress - Will can have a girlfriend, just not her.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't like Elizabeth Reaser as Will's girlfriend. She's just annoying and too over the top!
What I love most about this show is that we get real characters with good and bad traits. We may have anger toward Chris Noth as he's cheated on Julianne Margulies once again. But, we get that balanced out very nicely with Will and Diane's depiction as the typical shark like attorneys trying to pick off Stern's clients before the sit shiva is even over...
    Brilliant writing.

He didn't cheat on Alicia after the scandal broke - he cheated with Kalinda beforehand, when he was in office and helped Kalinda. But I get what you mean - even though Alicia seemed to suspect it wasn't just one hooker he cheated with - when she finds out he slept with Kalinda it's going to feel like he just cheated on her again.

and cheated with a friend and wasn't told or denied by either.
So, she will have been betrayed by both husband and friend which is sometimes worse than the actual cheating.

    The Reveal Spoiler

A Good Wife‘s Bad News | During a feature interview I conducted this morning with The Good Wife's Alan Cumming, I asked if Alicia learning about Peter bedding Kalinda arrives at a bad time for the campaign. After noting there’s “never a good time” for such a bombshell, Cumming went on to preview the reveal itself, which he happened to watch during a Sunday ADR session. “It’s really heartbreaking, actually. Devastating. I was all teary,” he shared. “Alicia has been this steely woman, and then this thing happens…. You finally see her crack.”

Loved tonights episode. It was such a punch in the gut for Alicia to find out about Peter and Kalinda the way she did. I can't wait to see the next episode and how she handles it............dang I just remembered I will miss next episode as we will be on holidays in Las Vegas.

ugh my heart is breaking for Alicia. Such bad news. There is no way that the p.i. tried calling all day and went to find her in person to tell her 'not bad news' He's way too smart and crafty to bother.

Next week is going to be brutal. Unless, of course, we get another run of repeats before the next new episode.

I'm disappointed that America Ferrera isn't sticking around. I know her last big TV job was starring in her own show, but I would have liked it if she'd stuck around. The relationship with Eli was interesting and she had a lot to add at the firm.

It looks like there won't be a new episode next week.

Why do you think the guy told Alicia? It just didn't make sense, unless he had some ulterior motive behind the whole thing.
I agree with Critical - he's way too smart and crafty for that. o, something's obviously going on.
