Yup, positively :smokin! Talk about steamin' up the mirrors. I love Chris Noth too - ever since L&O. But I really love the fact they did a scene like that between these two characters who are over 40. I was kinda surprised CBS went there...Quote:

Most of the characters on this show have at least one major flaw that would make you wanna hate them forever, but they redeem themselves somehow and you end up loving them and rooting for them.
I loved how nobody saw the twist coming at the end and I feel bad for Diane putting herself and her future on the line like she did only to have it blow up in her face and in Peter's.
Calista's past is intriguing, also. Can't wait to see what's up with that.
Kalinda? I think she will always remain an inigma (can't spell that....) and I want her to.
LOVE this show - it's a must see.

Okay, can somebody help me out here? When the 2 law firms merged and Blake was first introduced, it was natural for there to be a bit of professional rivalry between him and Kalinda. With the exception of him calling her by the wrong name, which I guess was a passive/aggressive thing on his part, has he done anything to Kalinda that would warrant her taking a baseball bat to his car? I was shocked when I saw that.
Also, I know that my hearing is pretty good and I usually have my volume on a pretty low setting, but the end scene in the parking garage between the two of them was pretty muffled. I think a lot of times the actors mumble or don't enunciate clearly enough. I didn't get half of that conversation. Kalinda moving in closer and closer to Blake, invading his personal space, was making me squirm. I do love her character, though, and the actress is great. I like how mysterious she is and can't wait to find out what Blake has on her.
I get the impression that they know each other from some sort of unethical practices when she was with the police. She doesn't trust him at all and thinks he may be there to bring the firm or her down. :shrug

Yep and in that confrontation in the garage he made it clear that he knows that her supposed upper class upbringing is a lie. She revealed to him that she knows that he and Will have a past connection.
The getting closer and closer was an intimidation tactic. She was using a lot of innuendo. This being a PG-13 site and all I really can't comment on what the inferences were.
The third party candidate who was announced - I know she was the lawyer from a previous episode, and I remember she was devious, but I feel like I missed something when she walked out. It carried some impact for the characters, but did I miss something or are we going to find out as we go along?
It's a little odd to carry the plot that way because truly, I don't care if Childs or Florrick holds the office. If I were a voter I'd be happy to clean house with a new candidate.
I think we are going to find out as we go along. I agree that new blood in the office would be good. I don't think she's the answer though. I'm most looking forward to the ongoing Kalinda story.
If I remember correctly, she works in Child's office (I think that's his name the guys that replaced Peter as DA). I was like WOW...never saw that coming at all. This season has been soooooooo good so far!!!Quote:
