    Fall TV 2009

CBS Schedule: Fall TV: CBS Schedules Fall Premiere Dates - Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide.com

I don't know why Rules of Engagement continues to be a mid-season show. I think it deserves to be among the regular line-up.

CBS has unveiled its premiere plan for the fall TV season, and the fun kicks off in Survivor's Samoa and winds down in the Three Rivers area of Pittsburgh. Here's the Eye's lineup:

    Thursday, Sept. 17
    8 pm/ET Survivor: Samoa

    Monday, Sept. 21
8 pm How I Met Your Mother
8:30 pm Accidentally on Purpose (new series)
9 pm Two and a Half Men
9:30 pm The Big Bang Theory (new time)
    10 pm CSI: Miami

    Tuesday, Sept. 22
    8 pm NCIS
9 pm NCIS: Los Angeles (new series)
10 pm The Good Wife (new series)

    Wednesday, Sept. 23
8 pm The New Adventures of Old Christine
    8:30 pm Gary Unmarried
    9 pm Criminal Minds
    10 pm CSI: NY

    Thursday, Sept. 24
    9 pm CSI
10 pm The Mentalist (new night)

    Friday, Sept. 25
    8 pm Ghost Whisperer
9 pm Medium (formerly on NBC)
    10 pm Numbers

    Saturday, Sept. 26
8 pm Crimetime Saturday (aka procedural repeats)
    10 pm 48 Hours Mystery

    Sunday, Sept. 27
    7 pm 60 Minutes (Season 42 premiere!)
8 pm The Amazing Race 15
10 pm Cold Case (new time)

    Sunday, Oct. 4
9 pm Three Rivers (new series)

Premiere dates have yet to be set for the midseason series Rules of Engagement, Miami Trauma (new), The Bridge (new) and a pair of new reality series.

I saw the premier of Accidently on Purpose. OMG..it's AWFUL!!!! I ripped it to shreds. (which of course means it'll be a hit and another good show will get cancelled).

Except for some of the Monday night quality comedies (Big Bang, How I Met, 2 1/2, etc.), this is pretty pathetic. No wonder I hardly ever watch CBS anymore. Good shows like The Unusuals (another network) are getting cancelled, while I don't know anyone who even watches Criminal Minds, Numbers, or Cold Case, yet they go on and on. Somebody must be watching them, I guess.

I thought that Cold Case always came on after The Amazing Race. There are few shows I watch on regluar channels. At least they did not cut The Big Bang Theory, I hope the new time slot does not change the show.

Other than TAR (possibly Survivor.. not sure...the bloom fell off that rose a long time ago) there is nothing on there I want to watch. No wonder I never watch this station.

I watch mostly CBS now...I have not watched much NBC lately tho.

I dont like the fact they moved Big Bang. Hopefully it will be ok, at least its not moving to another night!!

I have never paid any attention to what network I'm watching - I just watch. But it seems that I watch quite a bit of CBS' programming. Not Ghost Whisperer, though. Couldn't be paid to watch that.

The CBS Monday night line-up is the only regular night I watch. I catch CSI and Numbers On Demand. I loved Cold Case when it first came out but football always seemed to push it back to later than it's normal start time, making it difficult to record, so I gave up on it. Out of boredom for the same thing over and over I quit watching Survivor and TAR a long time ago.
