Might be because I was upset over the news about Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson ... just couldn't focus on the plot development. I'll give it another try next week, though, and maybe Numbers, too. I guess I don't like crime shows all that much. I loved The Unusuals, but I think that had a lot to do with the interesting quirkiness of the characters and their relationships.
Well, both those shows have quirky characters! But I agree, NOT to the level of The Unusuals! But the relationships are the main reason I watch both those shows....on Numbers, for example, have seen Charlie go from practically an Asperger-y lack of social skills to a guy with apparently a (lovely and bright and nice) fiancee, and we've learned a lot about the relationship between the brothers, to say nothing of some of the other relationships.
I'm surprised you found CM at all---my TV schedule last night was completely trashed by substitutions and tribute shows to MJ and FF.

I may give Kelsey Grammer's new show a shot. I loved Frasier, though I think I prefer David Hyde Pierce and/or John Mahoney.

The move to 9:30 may not be bad for Big Bang Theory-- of the Monday night shows, Two and a Half Men has the best ratings, so maybe it'll pick up even more viewers.

    Thank goodness for ABC
Still holding up as the only network with more than 1 or 2 shows I want to watch.
Seeing that it's on nearly every night, I figure Jay Leno's show may worth watching on nights when nothing else good is on. Sort of like safety-net TV .
All in all I'm dissapointed at the quality shows cancelled this year, with the substandard ones they kept.

    Re: Fall TV 2009

Has anyone heard of a show called "Who Do You Think You Are?" that was supposed to be a summer show created or produced or in some way involving Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe from Friends)? I read about it on a genealogy web site I think - it's supposed to be about celebrities tracing their ancestry back and the sometimes surprising/shocking results of where they come from.

It was supposed to begin either this past spring or in the summer, then got pushed back to the fall - just wondering if it's going to happen at all. I would be very interested in watching if it does actually make it to air. Anyone?

^ I knew the name (it was a British show originally) so I did a search. It was supposed to be on NBC; Lisa Kudrow is listed as one of the producers. The information I found sounds like it was in production last summer but imdb has a 2009 date for this show. So I'm not sure what happened to it...sounds like a low priority, certainly. Maybe they'll air it duing one of the more-fallow summer months.

It sounds like an interesting concept (and great for the genealogy businesses!), but hard to make visually interesting....what do you have the D list star do while you sit around and watch someone do a computer search? Of course they've made two blockbusters about library research recently, but somehow I don't think anyone will be trying to kill them while they look for their results.

I'm a CBS fan too . . . . . NCIS, CSI (New York and the original), Mentalist and Numb3rs.

Really looking forward to Three Rivers with Alex O'Loughlin. Still can't understand why they canceled Moonlight, but I'm glad they found another show for him.

Heroes is probably the only non-CBS show I watch on a regular basis.

Has Fox released their schedule yet? I'd like to know when new epis of House, Bones and Fringe are starting.
