| Merlin on NBC I've only seen some ads for this new program. Does anyone know anything about it? It's supposed to debut tonight, June 21. |

| Re: Merlin on NBC It's on NBC and it seems to be the story of Merlin from the King Arthur days - but it makes Merlin and Arthur about the same age. For the purpose of the series it is late teens, I think. The show is a BBC import and looks to be good. It will last for 13 episodes and tonight (Sunday) there are two episodes airing back to back.

| Re: Merlin on NBC I'm looking forward to this and have the DVR ready because I'm so happy to have Anthony Head back on TV. I really loved him on Buffy. Plus, there's supposed to be a long preview for the new Harry Potter movie during the show ![]()

| Re: Merlin on NBC I enjoyed it as well and am hoping that NBC keeps it going. John Hurt and the Narrator/Dragon was wonderful, of course. I also enjoyed seeing the clip from Harry Potter, even though it was obviously heavily edited and it makes me even more excited to see the movie than I already was ![]()

| Re: Merlin on NBC Thanks for the info! I'm sorry I missed it. Maybe NBC will re-run it on Saturday the way they often do the shows that air first on Sunday night. |

| Re: Merlin on NBC I enjoyed it and will DVR it again. It's an interesting take on a familiar story. Honestly, a couple of things really bothered me... they fight to the death, or until one knight concedes, in the tournament yet the one knight's only wounds were snake bites? He didn't get stabbed after he was paralyzed? And when the king said to the bad knight, "After the tourney, why don't you stick around? I could use a knight like you." Isn't that kind of like saying, "After you kill my son, I'll give you a job."? .... thanks Dad! ![]() |
