    Life after Mark Greene

Will you still watch ER this season?

I was really sad after Mark left, but I can't give up ER as long as my guy Noah is still there

Eh...it just won't be the same. Also, a smallpox outbreak? I'm told that that could never happen.

Smallpox? Yeah it could happen, if someone unleashed the stroed viruses on us. Hospitalss in and around Washington DC have been notified of the posssibilities and measures they would take if ANYONE presented at a hospital with the disease, including....ugh! Locking down the hospital.

I don't see Greenes departure as a showstopper. As I remember the last season only delt with him and his illness coupled with his daughter.

I prefer ER "stay" a medical drama and leave the outside stuff alone.
Oh....and someone turn Kerry Weaver straight...her lesbianism bugs the heck out of me! LOL

I had always enjoyed ER until I felt they strung out Mark's illness.
They seemed to totally forget some of his earlier mess ups (e.d. the woman with pre-eclampsia) and turned him into some kind of perfect "super-doc".
I liked his character, but I do feel that he had served his time on the show.
I don't think the show will fold without him. ER has always been more about the interections between the characters than simply about the characters themselves imo.
I agree with Perc, the hospital stuff is much more interesting to me that the casts extracurricular activities.

I think they will nedd to pull the stops out this year to stay near the top.
I hope they can do it.

    Perc, I totally agree!

I don't like the ER eps outside of the hospital at all. I still think this show beats most of the other crap on tv these days

"Beats the crap out of" is stretching it a bit. I have many holes in my roof from all the anvils this show drops. I never had any sympathy for Mark as he was dying because he died in such a gay way and Ive started to hate him more and more ever sicne he got beaten up in the bathroom.

For some reason, this show reminds me of a more sophisticated version of an older television series called "St. Elsewhere". JMHO

I couldn't watch St. E, it had Howie Mandell in it...and I can't picture him as anything other than a standup comic.
