    Kim Delaney Plastic Surgery

She is a lovely lady. It says she was 40 years old last year. I was thinking she was a little older, but still. She's right in her prime.

Do you remember when she was on CSI Miami for about half a season? She left abruptly and I don't think it was her idea. She was replaced by the younger blonde girl, if my memory is correct. I guess that can mess with your self-esteem.
    She's not 41, she's 51 - born in 1958.

That site doesn't have many recent pics. She's had a bunch of work done since then ....or maybe it's just the Restylane and Botox. Plus, her lips are out of control: http://www.blogcdn.com/www.stylelist...40tp061509.jpg
Here's Kim back when she was on NYPD Blue at least 10 years ago.

Here she is now: "Army Wives" Season 4, Episode 6 Photos | myLifetime.com
When she's not smiling, it doesn't look quite as bad. When she tries to smile, her face doesn't move. Her skin looks too smooth and puffy, which means fillers and Botox. She used to be beautiful and now all I think of when I look at her is how she used to look. It's not about aging, it's about this desperate need to NOT age that I find upsetting. There are so many formerly beautiful women who are destroying their faces with all these procedures when, if they exercised a little moderation, they could age and still look great. Anyway, I don't know what's so wrong with a few wrinkles.

I've always liked Kim and I'm glad she's still working, but I hope she quits with the plastic surgery.

Some people, with bad genetics, do not age well. Anymore, with everybody having plastic surgeries, who knows what anybody used to look like? Where are their family traits?

I can see kids coming along not understanding why they don't look like their mother or father.

Thanks for the info. That article I posted was dated 2009 and said she was around 40, so that's why I thought she was 41. I found one that says she was born in 1961.

I think she looks okay. I think the demand to be young by the business is very great and sometimes getting work done may be a little irresistable. I've seen my friends who go blonde and just can't seem to stop. Eventually, their hair looks white and not so attractive. Others can see the problem, but the person can't see it. Of couse, we have no way of knowing what she would look like if she hadn't had the work done.

I want to know who does the work on Sally Field and Meryle Streep. They look great while not so obvious. That's the key.

I usually trust imdb over anything else, especially Wiki, since Kim could go on there herself and change her birth year to 1975 is she wanted to!

I wish more actresses took their cues from those older actresses. Meryl looked luminous in It's Complicated! Maybe she's had work done, I don't know, but it's not work that is trying to make her look like she's 30. There's nothing wrong with looking your age, imho. I can't remember who said it, but one actress commented that she would never get Botox because it immobilizes your face and her face is her tool as an actress. I want to smack Nicole Kidman for what she's been doing to her face!

I guess there's just pressure to look young, but it's not coming from the audience as much as from the producers/directors/etc. in show business.

I think Kim looks okay - she's nowhere near Priscilla Presley (yet), but I wish she wasn't doing the injections and the lip filler. It's just unnatural. Catherine Bell looks like she's had some work done too, but it's a little more subtle. Her cheeks do look very full though.

Amen. It does and that's why I stay blonde, but it can get out of hand if you aren't careful.

Re: Army Wives - Season 3

I LOVE Army Wives, and will watch faithfully till the end of the series, but this last episode jumped the shark in credibility. First of all, an attorney would probably not select a brand spanking new first year law student to assist with this kind of research on a very high profile case, (attorneys have law clerks and upper-classmen students to do that kind of work), and an attorney would not have a brand new freshman sit next next to him at the bar (where only attorneys are allowed to sit) to assist him with the case, even if she was the general's wife. But even if, by some remote chance, he did so, he would NEVER, EVER, EVER have this wet-behind-the-ears student jeopardize his case by having her get up and question a brand new witness --- to explore to see if maybe this new witness might possibly have some additional (and incriminating) evidence on the matter. Never happen!!! (And even if he tried to, the court would never allow a law student to cross examine a witness)!!!! And if there wasn't enough of a lack of credibility there, what are the chances that very law student's husband would be sitting in the courtroom watching this go on?

Then there's Pamela and Roxie. Now come on, what are the chances that Roxie would come speeding by when Pamela was on speeder-radar duty, and that that whole crazy scene would ensue?

PS Joan's signs and symptoms are more like those of multiple sclerosis than PTSD. Hope that's not what the problem is. . .

Missed last night, but I have it recorded. This is one of my "comfort" shows, and I chose to watch some trash. I'll look for the things you pointed out!

I agree with you on the storylines. Speaking as an attorney, the thing with Claudia Joy was far fetched, but I just ignored that part. The speeding ticket story was a little lame too, but whatever. I was a little surprised they showed Roxie so carefree about the speeding ticket. Speeding causes accidents that hurt people. She acted like it was their problem not hers. Also, if she didn't pay the ticket in the other state, they would have revoked her license in SC, most likely. Anyway, she said she was sorry. LOL.

Why was Joan rubbing her belt? I was thinking brain tumor, but why the belt issue? That's a mystery.
