It's not on till Nov 11 because of all of the Baseball and saving it for Nov sweeps. It's usually on Wed night so you wouldn't have missed it this week if it were on!

Re: GLEE on Fox

I just read in TV guide when Glee returns on 11/11 they are going to be singing "Defying Gravity." So excited! I love Wicked. Everytime I watch Glee I think what a fabulous Elphaba Lea Michele would be. I can't wait hear her do this one

I've never seen the show or heard the songs from it, but I am reading the book right now.

There's a book???? I didn't even know... will have to go look. Let us know if it has the same bite to it that they've infused into the show.. I'd love it!

PWS, I loved the show (my fave along with Chorus Line)...but had a heck of a time getting into the book....I just couldn't do it. From what I've heard they're very different. Well, basic story line is the same, but....I know people rave about the book though, so I'd assume since you're enjoying that, you'd enjoy the show too. "Defying Gravity" is a phenominal song, and I'm sure Lea (and her co-diva ) will knock it out of the park!!!

Re: GLEE on Fox

I have read the book and seen the musical several times. They are pretty far away in tone and extremely different in feel. The book is very dark and sad-but extremely interesting, while the musical is soul-stirring and hopeful, at least in my humble opinion.
