Ain't Love Grand!
buglover, I was thinking it was bad filmmaking, but you could be right. If it was there to lead them to the body, then the killer must have intended for them to find Madison as well...assuming the killer and kidnapper are the same person.
Callum Keith Rennie is the actor playing John Wakefiled. He's not an unknown like most of the cast so I find it a little hard to believe that with his resume, he's nothing but a headshot on this show....unless he appears in flashback. Right now, my money is still on Wakefield being alive.
Getting lost will help you find yourself.
If this series was being written by the same people who write Lost I would say CLUE!, but in this case who knows. At this point I'm starting to get more interested in what are clues, what are the red herrings, and what is just bad continuity. For example, after Hunter gets killed on the boat there is a wide shot showing the lid to the engine (where the gun was rigged) open. Later when Henry and the groomsmen find the boat the wide shot shows the lid closed (I have filed this under lack of continuity, but maybe clue). The whole money angle with Marty bringing 250,000 to the Island seems to have gone nowhere except for a reason for Booth to be skittish and kill himself.Originally Posted by lildago;3501664;
Gotta say that if I was trapped on an Island with a murdering psycho that this bunch is the last bunch I'd what to be stuck with. You find a boat with a man's head blown off and don't say anything to the police? Especially after a woman's body was found hanging from the rafters? This doesn't raise a concern for anybody (beyond a few jitters when two big burly men show up)? It takes Chloe how many hours before she realizes that Cal is missing? The motto with too many people seems to be act first, think later.
I think the killer has to be Henry, Maggie or Wakefield. Maggie always seems to not be around when the murders happen. Henry did seem to have fighting skills that just came out of nowhere, mush like the cuts on his arms. If it's Wakefield then we don't need an explanation of where he's been when the murders happen. I don't think it's Trish, because I don't think she would kill her dad. I guess it could be Cal too. Or it could be JD and Henry together. What did they do with JD's body?
I noticed about the blood pools too. I think they were planted by the killer.
Boann, I noticed about the manhole cover in the middle of nowhere too! Crazy!
I'm really into this show now!
Phil: Claire likes to say "You can be part of the problem, or part of the solution." But I happen to believe you can be both. Modern Family
Ok so many questions and very few answers. I hope the storyline in regards to Abby finding out about a child between her mother and Wakefield goes in the direction of it being not her. I think it makes it more interesting and another twist if whoever that baby turned out to be is involved with the murders (whether by jealousy or just being psycho). There are too many questions left open about Chloe and Cal. Could a Bonnie and Clyde set of killers be doing this? I don't know. But I do find the whole Maggie storyline full of holes and will be completely pissed if she is the killer. There is not a lot of history that the viewers have learned about her and that would be such a disappointment. What about Uncle Marty's money? Booth and his body? I seriously don't think he is dead. The death scene was too shady. Each episode I get close to who i think the killer is and then it's all shot to hell by the end of the episode. grrrrrrrrr.
The Buffalo Bills Will Win A Superbowl Someday!!!
I'm really hoping it is Henry. Most people would never suspect him and it would be a good twist.
Yup, with donuts!!
While I wouldn't mind if it WERE Henry, I'm hoping it's not. The idea of the main "good guy" ending up as the actual bad guy in horror movies is overused I think. This is why I'm hoping it's not Abby and some multiple personality syndrome she has either. I really want it to be someone who you'd never think is capable, such as Maggie or Nikki--although right now Nikki is far too under the radar and it'd be a disappointment if she ended up being the murderer, so I hope she shows up a lot more later.Originally Posted by buglover;3502444;
The idea of Cal and/or Chloe being the killer(s) is a fun thought too. But I feel certain that there is only one killer.
I must be the only one, but I would LOVE if it were Maggie doing the killings. To me she seems like she's had the most time to do the murders, AND it seems like she's holding the most secrets. Who would expect the sweet, plump maid and wedding planner to be doing all these horrific killings?
Please no multiple personality disorder!! It's so over done in everything we see and it seems an easy way to explain why someone kills. I want a killer who knows exactly what they are doing and has a reason in their warped mind for doing it!
Yup, with donuts!!
I think it's Wellington's widow, the one who was fooling around with her dead husband's equally dead son-in-law. She presented to the Sheriff the newspaper clippings that cast suspicion on Richard. Maybe she's Wakefield's daughter. Maybe the Wellington's cheated Wakefield, and it's a revenge thing. Wakefield is dead, and the reason the murders are so Wakefield-like is because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I missed the last episode, so sorry if this character (can't remember her name) was killed off. I hope it's not Cal & Chloe. I really enjoy them. I wish they had their own show. Something like Dharma & Greg.
"...Mr. Bluebird on my shoulder..."
Yeah she got offed at the end of last episode - Katherine Wellington with the pruners in the bar.Originally Posted by lopevian;3502642;
