| Harper's Island This is going to be awesome. Trust me! I've been seeing previews for it... basically, a bunch of wedding guests go to this isolated island in the Pacific Northwest for a week-long celebration. But one by one, a serial killer is murdering the guests and locals. Kind of like 'Scream' - but in 13 installments. Along the way, they'll be dropping clues until the killer is finally revealed at the end. I love (a) a good thriller and (b) a good mystery, so personally I can't wait until this kicks off on April 9 on CBS. Has anyone else seen the ads yet? Are you as excited as I am?

| Re: Harper's Island I am excited Toby. My only concern is that it might be like that Fear 13 show that was on WB a while back but hopefully since it's not a reality show, it will be good!

| Re: Harper's Island I'd not heard about this until I saw this thread, but yes, I'm excited. Read the book, and it was quite good. Looking forward to April 9, now, .

| Re: Harper's Island I am totally looking forward to it and agree that it sounds a bit like Agatha Christie. I just hope they don't throw in a lot of red herrings along the way.

| Re: Harper's Island Well, I was first very excited to see this, I love mysteries and thought with someone dying off each week it might be interesting.... but then I saw Jon Turteltaub pluging it and he said it was "classical horror" and that is something I am no longer interested in. But, I m interested to hear what everyone says about it, so I'll be back after the April 9th episode airs to check out your reviews.

| Re: Harper's Island I totally thought this was going to be like that reality show they had a few years back. I can't remember the name of it, but it was contestants who had to solve the murder mystery and at the end of each show two contestants would get sent out and one would get the new clue and one would be "killed". |

| Re: Harper's Island You know it seems that the US networks are experimenting a bit with the way the British do tv series. Sometimes just get a really good story line and do an extended miniseries with it. Sounds like a good idea.

| Re: Harper's Island We are looking forward to this ... I hope they don't take a great idea and muddy it up. Soooo, it's not "10 Little Indians"?? They've turned it into some kind of reality show? I will be watching the first episode and I hope they don't mess it up.
