Re: Harper's Island

[[Hell, even Shea can be the killer. I can totally see her now being in on Madison's disappearance (Madison not knowing her mom's in on it) in order to keep everybody on the island.

The Sully/Wakefield resemblence I feel like is irrelevent. They may look very similar but keep in mind these are two different actors from different backgrounds, so similarity can all be coincidence.

Re: Harper's Island

I found some potential clues on other Web sites and have a theory:

[[First, I saw a Web site that has blown up screenshots of Wakefield's diary:

Many times Wakefield reiterates his innocence for the murders seven years ago and that he will get revenge...

Then... I saw on IMDB that the final episode (called Sigh) lists these three new characters:

Ryan Grantham ... Young JD
Ava Hughes ... Young Abby
Nadine Wright ... Karen Dunn

Obviously, there is a flashback explaining everything and since JD and Henry's mom is listed, it makes me think she is the mother of Wakefield's child. Either Henry or JD. Also may explain why JD hates Henry.

So, here's my theory: Maybe Henry or JD found out seven years ago that Wakefield was his father, got mad and murdered his mother and father for lying to him and made it look like they died in a car crash. Then he killed a bunch of other people who may have been potential witnesses or just because he was still mad and not finished killing.

I'm thinking the person working with Wakefield is not his son, but the other brother who has discovered Wakefield is innocent and wants revenge for his parents' murder at the hands of the brother guilty of killing their parents and all the other people seven years before.

So, basically...
---one brother is Wakefield's child and committed all the murders seven years ago
---Wakefield was innocent of the earlier murders and is working with the other brother to exact revenge...Wakefield for being unjustly convicted and the other brother for his parents' murder.

[[ I think that the entries where Wakefield protests his innocence were from his conviction when he previously came to the Island to get Sarah. At that time he was charged with deadly assault against a police officer (or something along those lines), tried and convicted and sent to prison. The charges were exaggerated because Sheriff Mills wanted to keep Wakefield away from his wife Sarah. The prison diary is from Wakefield's incarceration then. He was released from prison seven years ago and went to the Island to get his "revenge." There were many witnesses to the murders committed by Wakefield then, including Abby, which we saw in a flashback. Wakefield was never captured and tried for those murders because Sheriff Mills claimed he shot and killed Wakefield. ]]

[[Yes, that could be. But Abby only saw Wakefield's legs, right? Did anyone actually see his face?

Anyway, I still believe that a young JD listed in the credits for the last episode indicates that he comes back and is not really dead. He is either helping Wakefield with the killings or "playing dead" to help stop Wakefield and Henry doing the killings.

I definitely think that JD or Henry is the mystery killer.

[[No there is doubt, we didn't see him die or even being killed and he could easily have had a fake blood bag under his shirt.

Like in the Agatha Christie "And Then There Were None," the real killer enlists help to make it look like he/she was killed, and then went around killing more but no longer suspected.

I think that's what could be going on here. The fact that young JD is featured in the last episode according to IMDB tells me JD has something to do with the mystery and is probably still alive.

Re: Harper's Island

[[According to the producer's Twitter, JD is D-E-A-D along with everyone else who presumably died. That includes Booth and Chloe and their "maybe they're still alive?" theories

The flashback with a young JD makes sense, because, well, JD was alive back then.
