| Re: Harper's Island I'm hoping Wakefield's partner is Trish. I know it's a long shot, but after Chloe asked her "Why did you have to get married on this island?" I started to think, yeah, why did you? I didn't see the first episode and presume it was Henry's idea to get married on the island, but I'd like for Trish to be involved in the killings, just because I haven't seen much argument for her being involved.

| Re: Harper's Island I watched again tonight with my husband(he hates spoilers and refuses to watch it early) to see the Cal/Chloe scene again. Something I caught this time was that when Henry and Abby were off chasing Wakefield and sent Cal after Chloe, they came upon some tribal monument or something. Abby commented that she knew the place because she used to go there with Jimmy. Coincidence that Wakefield led her there? In the previews, Trish is running through the woods in her wedding gown. Why on earth would she have that on? I've grown to like Trish's character and don't want her to be killed now. Oh, and where the hell are all the townspeople? Someone over at the CBS board posted side by side photos of Wakefield and Sully. The resemblance is uncanny! ![]()

| Re: Harper's Island After this episode...I can't imagine waiting two weeks. The first part of the episode--I couldn't believe why no one was taking a shot at Wakefield. As good as he is with a knife, it is no match for a gun. Nikki at least tried, but Trish definitely had a clear shot before they retreated(maybe wanted to make sure she idnd't hurt her accomplice?...Hmmm). And couldn't Shane have tried to dive for the gun rather than try to get in a knife fight with a person he was no match for? That last scene with Cal and Chloe was really touching. I am also trying to resolve in my mind how Madison could be the killer--that is one strange, creepy little girl and she definitely didn't seem to care that much that people were dying or that her dad died. I just don't see how that is possible, though. I am really hoping it is not Jimmy, but it is really looking possible--with the file Abby's dad had, the being led to the tribal thing Jimmy took Abby, the look on his face at the end of the episode--but I really really want it to be a red herring. I wouldn't mind it being trish or Henry. And I want to know where all those townspeople went. It is like they all disappeared. Did Wakefield let them leave or him and his partner kill them all? |

I don't want it to be Jimmy either, which is why I think it is red herring. I read that the killer will be revealed [[in the last hour of the two hour series finale]] not much of a spoiler but rules are rules. Madison is very psycho weird to me, emotionless except for the freight of seeing her grandfather die (but then she was fine when JD held up his finger and shhhhh her - to which she played along). How funny (not ha ha) that she was friends with Wakefield and JD, remember when she let JD escape then knocked over the cans...... didn't she say someone told her he was there when JD asked how she knew? Must have been the all seeing Wakefield. Really, Jimmy being the killer, Henry, even Trish would not be the shocker of Madison being killer. That most of the crimes were done by Wakefield is obvious, with his little helper Madison. Madison has been helping him all along and that is why she is considered the other killer. Plus, she may have even done a few..... Katherine, Beth with Wakefield's help afterward.

| Re: Harper's Island Well, I just watched the show again from my DVR and to see the previews and I am off the Madison bandwagon. I apologize for accusing a little girl (although she is strange) as the killer. I noticed a few things in the scene where Danny and Sully have guns raised at Wakefield - there is no one else around. Then in next shot we hear Abby say something like "he's gone/dead?" then see Danny, Sully, Abby and Henry (coming from behind Danny) .....Is that because Jimmy is on the ground dead, or is he just not in that scene when Wakefield is killed? I noticed that at one point Abby is paired up with Jimmy, Danny and Sully are together and it looks like he wants to shoot Jimmy - probably for what Shea and Madison discovered in the news clips on him. I think this is a head fake, that Jimmy got into trouble off the island and the sheriff got him out of trouble. But, ???? There is a shot with what appears to be an alone Henry jumping over rocks as if in sniper mode........ (but may just be my imagination - the sniper part). But, several hints pointing to Jimmy, (although if true, he sure had the Sheriff fooled). When Jimmy's truck pulled up in the flashback episode he saved Abby from Wakefield, but perhaps he pulled up because he and Wakefield were on good terms?

| Re: Harper's Island Do we know that Wakefield's child is the other killer, or that Wakefield is working with the other killer? I re-watched the first couple of episodes this week-end and am wondering if the reason Kelly saw Wakefield all over the place was because she is his child and he kept seeking her out. That would make the six original victims (from 2001) those who were in Wakefield's way (all men) or past relationships (all women). Just wondering if maybe the second killer killed Wakefield's child, setting Wakefield off on a new killing spree. He's after everyone because he doesn't know who the real killer is. |

| Re: Harper's Island It is on July 9th in Canada - 2 hrs. Boann - all we know about Wakefield and child is that he wrote in his prison diary/journal that Sarah had his child. Sarah is the name of Abby's mother. The sheriff said that he was her father, but that does not mean he is her biological father...... he could be, or perhaps Wakefield is. ![]() In the previews we heard Wakefield yell to someone "Their getting away" ....... could refer to Shea and Madison in boat or anyone I guess; but the point is it showed that he is working with someone........
