Yeah. [[ That was so sad at the end. Though I admit, I laughed when Wakefield did the whole "I see you" thing with his knife to Chloe before she jumped. : And I'm still not convinced it's Jimmy. There's gonna be a swerve. I bet my bottom dollar on that.]]

I agree! [[ Too soon to reveal who it is, red herring, just like the sheriff, JD, Cole..... but it was spooky the look that Jimmy had in his eye. Hmmmm, I don't know, but I did like the way Chloe ended it.
We've known about Jimmy 's past arrests, although that last arrest was in Seattle. Still it doesn't make sense that the sheriff would have a file on Jimmy and still trust Abby to be with him, even trade his life for Jimmy's. ?......

What I want to know is, was Danny right? Is Wakefield doing it just because he likes it? He is wacko, but I guess revenge isn't his sole motivation.
If it is Jimmy, then I am disappointed that there is no happy ending for any couple.....

[[I agree. I don't think it's Jimmy. I'm going with Shae.

First, the idea of the killer being a woman was shaky if there was one killer because of the strength/size/time frame but with Wakefield alive that takes away a lot of the issues.

This whole thing isn't about Abby but it's about TRISH (at least for her, Wakefield's motive could be about Abby still) and the whole "daddy's girl" thing. Shae is older than the others and could easily be the "child." Do we know what their mom's name was? Sarah is a common name so it could be that Abby's mom and their mom had the same name. I mean, her "adopted dad," Wellington, was a jerk to her husband, which caused him to screw around on her with the "trophy wife." Trish got the big expensive wedding on the island and the devoted fiancee who although Daddy wasn't thrilled with but he was semi-okay with, enough to pay for the wedding. I think someone else mentioned this part but that's why she felt comfortable enough to walk in the dark alone, knowing that he wouldn't come after HER. Madison would be Wakefield's granddaughter, so he would be nice to her. Wakefield didn't seem all that concerned to be going after the girls, figuring that Shae wanted Trish for herself and how convenient. And now Shae has found herself an alibi in finding Jimmy's records. Keep the secret and pin it on Jimmy and Wakefield.

Also it sounds like the Wellington's had been summering on the island for many years so it's possible that Wakefield had a few other female friends on the island. Looking at him tonight I would guess the man was fairly attractive in his youth.

On one of the Twitter posts, I saw that Cousin Ben would be explained too. I think that Cousin Ben was either the same age as Shae or a little older and knew that Shae was not Wellington's child and adopted by him later. So Cousin Ben had to be the first to go because when the killings started to make sure he didn't spill the beans about Shae and Trish having different fathers.

[[Yeah. I'm thinking it might be Shae, Danny, or Sully. Henry or Jimmy would be too obvious. Or, if he's not really dead.... Malcolm!!]]

[[oooooooooooo, please don't let it be Jimmy! I agree it's way too soon for that reveal.

I'm betting on JD (faked death) or Trish.

[[I don't want it to be Jimmy but there are only 2 episodes left. So it's not really too soon. I'm thinking it will be revealed next week. Last night, I did start wondering about Sully. Can't remember - was he on the island as a child or did he and Henry meet in college? ]]

Re: Harper's Island

[[Jimmy is my prime suspect. The show last night was exciting, but wasn't about a mystery, just stalking and how the murders were affecting those still alive and the choices they make (Shane and Chloe in particular for me). I don't think it is too soon if much of the story is the chase now. Plus there are a lot of loose ends that still need to be cleared up in two hours - (i.e. which murders were done by Wakefield, which by one of the 25; why was the money brought to the island, etc., then the denouement)

If it was Henry he would still need an accomplice to send him the text message about Uncle Marty, and to play Ave Maria on Abby's phone after Wellington was murdered in the church. I don't think that Wakefield makes a good side kick, and he doesn't seem the subtle type who would target Abby with a weird music message.

For the remaining characters they haven't revealed anything that I can see about why it would be all about Abby for them. Maybe Trish in some reality game of "If Abby and I were both being stalked by a mass murderer who would Henry pick" but the writers really haven't pointed to any jealousy issues between Trish and Abby.

[[But Abby saw Jimmy scaring the Wakefield away seven years ago when she was hiding in the bushes. It might be Jimmy, but I really think that in true mystery fashion, the killer won't be revealed until the last episode.]]

Re: Harper's Island

[[ Ok I had to go back and check to be sure but... when Danny, Henry and Abby go back to the Cannery after Shane has been hanged there is a song playing on the jukebox... You're a Fine Girl. I don't know but it sure is pointing to Wakefield's accomplice being female. Maybe it is Shae, she's a bit older than the rest and she's pretty calm, I'd be having a meltdown if my father and cheating husband were killed, I'd think they were coming after my daughter next..... but not Shae. ]]

Re: Harper's Island

[[I still can't see it being Shae. If it is, I'll say this. It would explain how she just happened to be on the road where Madison turned up. I thought that was just too easy.

One thing that bothered me last night...when Wakefield came into The Cannery and Trish and the others were hurrying into the bathroom, Shane pulled his knife. Wakefield had that long ass blade thingy and was going after Shane, right? Trish grabbed her shotgun and backed out of the room. Why not take a shot at him instead?
