Wow, good catch! I bet it's a CBS mistake, Beth burned alive couldn't be a potential faked death. My money is on JD for a faked death...no one saw him killed and he could have a blood bag under his shirt.

| Re: Harper's Island Mike'sGirl, I missed that post earlier. That has to be a glitch on their part because she was burned to a crisp. If there is a second person(Wakefield's kid) whose death was faked, I'm going with Booth. we saw JD on the table at the hospital. He would have had to fake it considerably for those who saw him lying there and also at the docks to fall for it. On the other hand, Malcolm was the only person with Booth and he left his body out there. It wasn't covered or buried. If Wakefield's kid is alive and on the island, it has to be Henry. Would Wakefield have shot Cal in the chest if he were his son? Because with his accuracy thus far, I won't believe that was an accident. I really, really like Jimmy and don't want it to be him.

![]() I have always wondered about Henry, JD, and how their parents died. I think if Henry is Wakefield's son, then he had something to do with their deaths, and perhaps JD was suspicious about it or remembered something enough to make him join Cole Harkin to find the truth. Guess Kelly wasn't so crazy after all about seeing Wakefield. For those who are bummed out about Wakefield still alive, you can't say it came out of the blue. That was an early nod that Wakefield was involved in the recent killings (some of them at least). The news clipping with Wakefield circled another clue. (even if the Sheriff lied about it, no idea why but he did want to get her off the island). I keep asking myself, how did JD and Cole really come by Wakefield's journal? Did JD find it amongst Henry's possessions? While I think Henry is the 2nd killer (I still remember his slight smirk of a smile when he realized he convinced everyone to stay on the island, and help search for Madison) I don't think we can rule out Shane yet either. I wonder if Abby is one of Wakefield's kids and Henry another (different mom's)? Maybe all Wakefield wants is to be one big happy family again. I think it odd that the Sheriff insisted that Abby was strong enough to kill Wakefield (emotionally I guess). Did Wakefield tell the sheriff he didn't want to kill her, because I can't imagine what power she has over the man...... especially since he was able to kill her mom easily enough. The Sheriff said he was her father, but that could be because he raised her and always felt he was. Oh, my mind keeps going on and on.... ![]()

| Re: Harper's Island Your welcome to those who said thanks. The description of Cal is pretty close to me. I'm going to guess that Nikki could be Wakefield's child. I have no specific reason for guessing that except I don't see any other reason why Nikki would be listed as one of the 25 potential killers as she hasn't had much of a role in the series to date. If Wakefield is offed during the next episode I think that would be a great twist. If the killer is someone who is supposed to be dead then I think that person could be Hunter. Back when I was obsessed about the bag of money as a clue I looked at the scene where Hunter discovers the money and then is killed. To me it looks like he gets it in the shoulder, not the face. When his "body" is discovered later, the face on the corpse is cleanly cut away, not blown away. Also with the bag of money - when the camera zeros in on it when Uncle Marty is in the bathroom there is the money, a gun, and a blue round gizmo with some kind of cord attached (I don't know what the gizmo would be). In the boat the close up shows just the money and gun. No blue gizmo. The comparisons of the two bags are also shown at the beginning of Episode 4 when the "previously shown" segment is on. I haven't looked back through the episodes since I noticed it, so I don't know if the blue gizmo has been shown in anyone else's possession since then. It may be that Uncle Marty was one of the first victims because he delivered something to the killer. |

| Re: Harper's Island OK, Wakefield wrote that he had a kid w/ Abby's mother. So, I don't think Abby's mother could have had Abby & another kid that is close to her age. Henry is right around her age, right? unless Abby's not her mother's birth daughter, but that's pushing it.
