After thinking on it, I am betting that Wakefield is killed in the next episode or before the final episode. There are 3 episodes left. Not a chance that the real killer comes out in the next episode. I am guessing we as the audience will find out right at the end of the 2nd to last episode that way to spend the entire last episode screaming at the characters to stay away from the real killer.

Now here is my new take on the scenario. Did we see what we thought we saw? I need to rewatch the episode but are we sure it was Wakefield [[who backed up the truck and yanked the Sheriff through the window]] Or is this just another red herring? I need to rewatch it but I wasn't sure if we actually saw Wakefield's face or we only saw him when he came up behind Abby?

I would agree that it would seriously disappoint me and not be some big "murder mystery" if in the 3rd to last episode we find out that the killer is the big bad killer from 7 years ago who is supposed to be dead but surprise! he pops up to be alive and vengeful. Just seems a little TOO horror movie-esque for the build-up that the show started with.

I hope Wakefield gets killed too! I slow-mo'd the previews for next week...

I too thought it possible someone else could have been driving the truck but I agree, the sheriff was talking as if it was Wakefield who tied him up. The only two not at the bar out of the main characters was Cal and Sully and Sully was about to get the bullet from Cal. Jimmy was unconscious at the bar, so I don't know who else could be in the truck unless it was a character who we thought has died but hasn't (Booth). And the bar could have entry to the tunnels so maybe someone slipped out unnoticed.

And Madison hasn't told Trish yet who her new friend is, so it could be one of the wedding guests. Only two episodes left.

I thought that we saw Wakefield's arm(in the sheriff's jacket) in the truck. The walkie talkie was on the dash. This was right after Abby noticed the other walkie talkie on the dresser.

Count me in as someone who would be disappointed if this turns out to be just in the horror/slasher genre rather than the mystery genre. Maybe the only mystery is who is John Wakefield's child.

I don't think we know that Wakefield is the one that shot the other 2 officers.
I think in previews for next week, we are led to believe that Jimmy is the accomplice. I could buy that. I don't see some crazed killer letting someone go for a deal with the sheriff to get Abby there, he could have got her a message just to go & she would have.
I was thinking at the beginning of the episode that it was going to be another Jin in Lost thing, & Jimmy would survive.

Great show! I was going crazy since we were still on the road, and I wasn't sure if we would make it back in time to watch Saturday's show, and I didn't want to even let the DVR record and watch later - but we arrived just in time.

Have to go back now and read all the spoilers which are probably no longer spoilers. Was surprised to see Maggie go, and part of me hopes that Cal will survive, but only if he isn't related to Wakefield.

OK, don't mean to mess with anyone's head here, but over at CBS under the "Pick the victim" game - they are now listing Lucy Daramour as a possible next victim!!! I thought she died a while back - burned to a crisp after falling into a hole looking for her runaway dog. Did CBS techies have a glitch or is she really still alive????

WHAT?? No, she was in the freaking hole on fire and I could have sworn they showed her crispy body afterwards. I think it was just a glitch. Of anyone who could survive it would be Joel.
