| Re: Harper's Island In the previews, did Madison say the sheriff had information on another person on the island? And then they cut to a mugshot of Jimmy. There's no way the sheriff would sacrifice himself for Jimmy and Abby to be together if he thought Jimmy would hurt her. I'm hoping it's just the clever editing that shows like to do with previews. I have to say a part of me was a bit happy when Maggie bit the dust . I would have been really upset if it had been her. I'm not too keen on it being Wakefield either but at least that wouldn't be far-fetched. And if everyone knew Abby was going to the hotel to meet her dad, who they all thought was the killer, wouldn't that have been an ideal time to haul butt to the docks?

| Re: Harper's Island I agree, the Jimmy mugshot is just a spin. But I do hope there is another killer.

The Jimmy thing has to be an editing trick. I refuse to believe Jimmy is involved unless I see him actually participating.

| Re: Harper's Island I agree completely. I think it is definitely being edited. I think he probably does have a mug shot but for something non-violent or relatively minor (you know compared to murder, etc,) such as a DUI, writing a bad check, heck even shoplifting or some sort of theft. And it could have happened when he was much younger. I will be slightly disappointed too if it does end up being Wakefield. It's not like it's out of left field but I will feel slightly tricked because I was lead to believe that the killer was one of the main characters that we have seen all along. |

| Re: Harper's Island I totally agree that they edited that preview to make Jimmy look guilty, and I think Jimmy will be proved innocent. It looks like Wakefield is the killer but like the preview teased "Is there another One?" he is working with someone else (son or daughter) to pull everything off. My money is on Cal or JD (if he faked a death). Cal is shown in the previews fighting Wakefield on the bridge so he couldn't be hurt too badly from being shot. I do think Cal has been drugging Chloe the several times they have been away from the group in order to run around killing if he's the second killer. I'm also relieved that the second killer isn't Maggie. Her part has been way too small for that to have been any good.

| Re: Harper's Island I really hope it isn't Wakefield. That would be a dissapointing ending. I do think he is responsible for Maggie and obviously, the Sheriff, blowing up the docks, and the two police that flew over. I really hope that would be the extent of it. Maybe it is a partner or there is the matter of the other child Abby's mom had. I also am glad that it isn't Maggie. I have a feeling it is Cal or Henry or even Booth faking his death so he can run around without suspicion. We do have that really fake looking death and we never did see his body in that grave. I think Jimmy is a red herring--though even if the sheriff gave his life for Jimmy, it is possible he wouldn't have known Jimmy was involved. I think he thought it was all Wakefield and someone like Wakefield would have no qualms about screwing him over and probably killing him was the only goal. Even still, I don't think it is Jimmy. |

| Re: Harper's Island I guess it's okay that it's Wakefield, but don't call it a "mystery event". Call it "a very long horror film". I just can't see it being Cal. I can only see him as the 2nd killer if Chloe is the one calling the shots. Maybe she's Wakefield's daughter.

| Re: Harper's Island After thinking on it, I am betting that Wakefield is killed in the next episode or before the final episode. There are 3 episodes left. Not a chance that the real killer comes out in the next episode. I am guessing we as the audience will find out right at the end of the 2nd to last episode that way to spend the entire last episode screaming at the characters to stay away from the real killer. Now here is my new take on the scenario. Did we see what we thought we saw? I need to rewatch the episode but are we sure it was Wakefield [[who backed up the truck and yanked the Sheriff through the window]] Or is this just another red herring? I need to rewatch it but I wasn't sure if we actually saw Wakefield's face or we only saw him when he came up behind Abby? I would agree that it would seriously disappoint me and not be some big "murder mystery" if in the 3rd to last episode we find out that the killer is the big bad killer from 7 years ago who is supposed to be dead but surprise! he pops up to be alive and vengeful. Just seems a little TOO horror movie-esque for the build-up that the show started with. |

| Re: Harper's Island Oh my goodness, this show is so good. Note don't watch on treadmill because it will make you jump. I did not read all the pages of the forum but we have not figured out the child of Wakefield and Abby's mom....maybe that person is the helper. So we still have a mystery to solve. |
