I am planning my DVR for next week since I am going on vacation and in case I won't be around to watch it, but it isn't showing an ep9isode for May 16th? You and me both! I see that over at CBS they still show it as Saturday nights. I have no idea why they have scheduled two repeat episodes of The Mentalist to air on Saturday 05/15 instead but I am concerned also.

I did just watch a sneak peak of this weeks show [[ entitled "Flying Tree Trunks" and Trish and her dad are out riding bicycles when they trip a "trap" previously set by someone who really knows his way around woods]]

Please, please let this show run full series...... PLEASE

Awesome episode tonight! You guys will love it All I'm gonna say is [[Daddy Dearest Drops Dead]]. And, no. That's not an outright, blatant spoiler. There ARE three dad's on the show, remember? Seriously, though.... this is the best death yet. Better then even Hunter's death. You guys will love it.

I think so too. If he's the killer, I think at the end of the show she'll run to him to protect her. Only to find out she ran to the guy that's trying to killer. Then someone else (her dad?) will save her from him. OR if he's not the killer, she will suspect he is at some point for whatever reason. So she runs away from him and in the process runs into the real killer. And then Jimmy saves her from him.

Seems like the general horror movie endings.

What was interesting to me about that "Trish and Dad bike ride" sneak peak is that they talk about Lucy leaving when they think they see GiGi as they are riding bikes.

Trish: Isn't that Gigi?

Daddy: I thought Lucy left...

Trish: She did.

Is this just bad continuity?

Did Trish get some sort of fake message from Lucy the day after she died saying she had to leave for a few days that was really from the killer (a la Uncle Marty's fake message)?

We never saw a scene explaining to the bridal party through a note or phone message why Lucy is gone. Did CBS edit out that scene or forget to include it or something?

I agree... I was wondering if I missed something in the last one or two episodes. Also, who the heck was that guy in the woods? a new character or the limping guy from harpersglobe videos (cheshire cat)?

The guy that shot himself in the woods, sorry, I don't know everyone's names, A) it looked fake, B) I don't see how someone could shot themselves in the leg at that angle & also not feel it? I was thinking someone else shot him. We need CSI out here!!!

The show has been called by TPTB as classic horror (which to me reflects back to the horror movies made betwen 1920's - 1960's, ala fake looking).

I doubt that they expected people to be so offended by the fakeness of Joel's ofting, but it did resemble the classic horror of days gone by.

I agree that some gaps are showing up in continuity. I guess we are to assume that someone is doing a good job covering up as many deaths as they can.

I think the sheriff is strange, and the fact that he (Abby's father) was the one to kill Wakefield, and then send Abby off has me wondering if he was the original killer all along; or if in killing Wakefield, he becomes possessed. (not that I believe in that, but this is fiction).
