Re: Harper's Island

It is interesting to me that everyone killed so far is known by the bride's family thus far. People who have lived on the island, or known by the brides side since they lived/vacationed on the island for so many years, or went to school with the bride. In particular, the bride's father has peeked my curiosity. I am discounting people that they are trying to obviously make us think is the killer....JD, Shane. Thomas Wellington is looking more suspicious to me.

Don't forget though that Uncle Marty is Henry's family. Plus, Henry only had Uncle Marty and his brother in attendance so victims on his side are pretty slim pickings.

Uncle Marty was once an islander I think from what he said in the pilot episode - remember Henry worked for Wellington in his youth; plus Marty and Wellington had that discussion out on the terrace just before Marty was killed when Marty overheard Tom talking to Hunter. He may have been killed to prevent the bride from finding out her father brought Hunter to the island. The motive for killing the priest might be to prevent him from performing the marriage. Have no clue why poor Kelly was killed unless it was to cause angst between Shane and JD; as a way of stirring up trouble with the island lowlife's making it seem that Henry's family is inferior. (?) Really I have no clue what the motives are, as I said - I am just suspicious.

Re: Harper's Island

I just rewatched and Cal says "Let's just hope she just meet a cooler British guy" and the BIL says, Or any other British guy for that matter. I still think Henry might have something to do with all of this. It's too convenient the way Hunter gets off'd after Henry discovers he's staying on the island.

Re: Harper's Island

This may have already been mentioned but Harper's Island is moving to Saturdays at 9pm.

From USA Today: Lifeline Live: Celebrity Gossip & Entertainment News from Hollywood

Quote:
'Harper's Island' is CBS' latest victim

CBS is pulling Harper's Island, the serialized 13-episode murder-mystery series, from its Thursday home, effective immediately, and plans to air remaining episodes Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, until early July. The show has steadily declined in its three weeks on the air, to a series-low 7 million viewers last week. Crime-drama repeats will fill the post-CSI Thursday slot, starting this week with Criminal Minds, though CSI:NY's season finale will air there on May 20.

Thanks for the update! I am glad that they decided to let it run to completion, it would drive me crazy not to know how it ends.

Re: Harper's Island

Thanks daddyzgirl! Thankfully, we get to see it to the end. I'm still mad about Dirty Sexy Money ending before I got answers.
